What happens if one day you just go in 100%. Then you do it again and again, each and every time. Discipline mastered, habits built and reinforced.

Your growth and development is exponential.

Mindset is everything.

20 years experience has taught me that building relationships and enjoying the process are the foundations for the greatest development.

The training is serious and we work with pin point accuracy on lifts and specific attention to detail with an individualised plan. Stimulation as opposed to annihilation.

However having fun, laughter along the way and being interested in the people you work with is a huge part of bridging the client trainer relationship.

Understanding their interests, what motivates them and how to speak to every single person is a key part to getting the very best out of them and them reaching their potential.

The most important skill is the ability to listen.

The importance of a specific prep prior training.

A simple meaningful task that’s often neglected but can pay dividends on performance.

Every session should begin with a prep of:

1️⃣ Dynamic movements
2️⃣ Joint mobilisation
3️⃣ Soft tissue manipulation
4️⃣ Low load movement drills specific to exercise

All to facilitate:

➡️ Neuromuscular stimulation
➡️ Increase range of motion
➡️ Enhance mobility
➡️ Increase body temperature
➡️ Reduction in injury risk
➡️ Enhance performance

All movement is a pathway of the nervous system and stimulation is required to enhance function.

Strength training has specific movement patterns which involve specific ranges of motion at load. Muscles and connective tissues all function optimally when there is sufficient blood flow causing warmth and increasing pliability. Muscles, tendons and ligaments all require ability to dispense forces while training.

Reducing the risk injury, optimising movement and promoting range is key to building up to extreme load but more importantly is increasing longevity of the body’s function.

You can’t achieve anything in life unless you turn up. The ladders to success and growth come from turning up each and every week come rain or shine despite everything else going on in your life.

Every training session will not be optimal and development in not linear but it’s still the commitment to remain disciplined and remember its part of the process.

An individual’s mind can develop far faster than the body with the correct focus and reinforcement. This will accelerate the positive behaviours which in turn leads to physique development.
