Here at ookushana, we are devoted to supporting the healing and awakening of humanity!
We have an online healing school, as well as a physical space in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We also share offerings at other venues & retreat centres in the UK & internationally. Our vision and mission as a healing school is to help people remember their innate power, and to support the awakening of the healer within.
We offer a variety of courses & trainings in ancient & modern practices to support the holistic healing of the body, mind and spirit.
ookushana Healing School was created by Felicity Weston, a Lightworker, Medicine Woman & Spiritual Teacher, devoted to service.
We have a beautiful tribe of healers & space holders sharing their gifts with our community! Our physical space, ookushana workshop, is a wellness studio in the heart of Chapel Allerton, in Leeds. Weekly offerings include Sound Baths, Women's Circles, Yoga, Breathwork, Art & Crafts, Spiritual Book Club, Reiki Shares, and Cacao Ceremonies.
We also share regular trainings & courses in Usui Reiki, Creating Ceremony & Ritual & Sound Therapy. We are a community of teachers, healers & facilitators in a large array of holistic healing modalities. Our space serves as a place where souls with a desire to heal, learn & expand their consciousness are drawn.

Felicity, our founder, offers deep and immersive courses and trainings for healers and lightworkers in their remembering, as well as healing journeys to support our international community on their journey.

Saviourhood is one of the most common and tender wounds in the healer lineage… because so often it looks like love.
And while our service will always be imbued with love, our care and our medicine are easily distorted by the unprocessed wound of saviourhood.
The wound of saviourhood is deep and old, with weathered threads connected to martyrdom and servitude.
Ultimately, it pulls us from trust and into rescuer mode - where we over-hold and disable our clients autonomy.
When we take on what isn’t ours, we unintentionally block another soul’s initiation…
Saving people is not serving them - it is a hindrance to their healing path & their full potential.
This Sunday I am holding an online ceremony for healers to journey to the roots of this wound so that we may reclaim right relationship to responsibility & restore sovereign service in our work.
This is deeply important - especially as we shift away from hierarchical healing spaces and into empowering and sovereignty-inducing spaces.
If we want to see a liberated world, we must ensure we are leading others home to themselves.

We cannot heal what we refuse to look at - the personal and the collective.
This coming week, I am journeying with the servitude wound - the wound that has us tying our worth to our work/service. The wound carved by patriarchy, class, gender hierarchy, colonisation & racism.
Like most wounds, the servitude wound lives in all of us - all healers, all humans - often manifesting differently dependent on our background, experiences, ancestral and soul roots & unique human design.
It may manifest as shrinking, compliance, rebellion, internalising hierarchy, and inherited narratives that were never ours to begin with - conscious or living deeper in the unconscious.
True healing and liberation asks us for radical self-honesty… not to lead us into a shame spiral, but to set us free.
It is my understanding that before we can unchain collectively, we must first meet the chains we carry within.
Prejudice, hierarchy, and old cruel-ruling power systems don’t just live “out there” - they are as internal as they are external, living on through our conditioning, our fears, and our unexamined perspectives.
Ownership of prejudice isn’t admitting and feeding sin, it’s an imperative part of real healing. When we stop pretending we were untouched by the systems we grew up in, and take radical responsibility over pointing blame, we reclaim our power to truly make a change.
This is where collective liberation begins: with truth, courage, and the willingness to meet our own shadows.
Healing the servitude wound means acknowledging our shadow without collapsing into guilt or defensiveness.
The moment we choose honesty over innocence, everything starts to shift.
Tomorrow, we journey into the wound of Servitude - in ceremony. A group of healers willing to meet the darkness in the name of liberation.

They are the echoes of past generations of healers, medicine women, and oracles - marked by persecution, martyrdom, servitude, saviourhood, and unworthiness.
They are our collective wounds from an unprocessed past.
And they run far deeper than any training, strategy, and even a lifetime of experience can support.
They are not a sign you’re failing or that you shouldn’t be doing this work.
But rather, they are a sign you’re ready to heal for the healers.
The healers who have come before you, the healers who walk beside you, and of course, the healer you came here to be.
They are a sign you are ready to alchemise collective ancestral wounding to free your energy, restore your faith, and grow unshakeable roots for you and your work.
This is the journey we’ll walk together..
To meet these wounds with intention, presence, and willingness.
To acknowledge and soothe the great pain that came before us.
To dissolve the false beliefs that caused the persecution of our ancestors.
To tend to the weathered threads that connect us to our spiritual roots.
To transmute the binds that keep us small.
And to remember the way our gifts and our power were always meant to move through the world - now.

The servitude wound doesn’t manifest as obviously the martyrdom wound (as burnout) and the persecution wound (as fear) - it sneaks into our work as a way of being that feels normal…
While it is subtler, it’s roots are deep and dark.
The servitude wound was shaped by systems that classified people as more or less worthy, valuable and important.
When we heal it, not only do we free ourselves from tying our worth to our work - but we begin to free the lineages impacted by patriarchy, class, religion, gender hierarchy, colonisation & racial oppression.
This is huge.

Most healers believe there is something wrong with their strategy…
but often the real friction is in the nervous system, not the business plan.
And no matter how many nervous system regulation practices we have, the system will be impacted by our unintegrated wounds.
The martyrdom wound is one of the most subtle & yet intrusive wounds of the healer. It tells us our needs don’t matter, our service to others is the primary purpose of our being, and devotion requires giving all that we have.
This wound - when left untended - has the capacity to make healers sick.
The wound isn’t conceptual - it lives in the collective, inherited generation after generation.
And until it is witnessed, processed & integrated, no amount of strategy will create sustainable growth. Because the body will always choose familiar suffering over unfamiliar safety.
When carrying the martyrdom wound, expansion doesn’t feel exciting, it feels threatening.
Being visibile, receiving, letting yourself rest, having more than “just enough” - are not business decisions, they are energetic initiations.
This is my why for offering The Wounded Healer Journey. To hold space for us all and the wounds that keep us small & sacrificing self in the name of other.

ookushana’s Founding Director Felicity Weston is a truly inspiring healer, facilitator & entrepreneur. Felicity works with multiple healing modalities including Reiki (she is a certified Master/Teacher), Breathwork, sacred sound & she holds a variety of impressive credentials in Shamanic Yoga, Ritual Facilitation, Holistic Wellness Coaching & Naturopathic Nutrition, among others.
Felicity offers 1:1 intuitive energy healing sessions tailored to her clients’ needs & highest good. She also offers training for all levels throughout the year in Usui Reiki.
The 1:1 energy healing Felicity offers is entirely intuitive and is evolving constantly, however always honours the Usui reiki lineage in which she is trained to Teacher/Master Level. Felicity’s healing style is unfalteringly nurturing and supportive - she wholeheartedly believes that we are all our own healers.
