We are celebrating: Eid Al-Adha

Here at AP we understand the importance of celebrating and learning about all cultures. Learning about cultural celebrations helps children develop social skills, empathy, and respect for others, supporting cognitive development by introducing new ideas, concepts, and perspectives.

We are celebrating: World Numeracy Day

This year's theme was Money. Teaching children numeracy skills such as money helps build a foundational life skills in recognising numbers, coins, notes, and understanding value and exchange. Our therapists have embedded mathematical understanding within their teaching through role play, 1-to-1 teaching and independent work. By doing this we are promoting problem solving and critical thinking, allowing children to build independence and responsibility and support their social and communication skills.
