Great to add a new treatment to the list - it’s a bit of a mouthful but I am now trained in ‘Gua Sha Lymphatic Drainage and Ice Globe Therapy facial massage’.

Two weeks ago my back went. When I say went, I couldn’t stand up straight and felt I had a harness round my middle restricting movement. I never sit still but I didn’t have a choice.

I’ve never struggled with my lower back so went into complete panic thinking I’d slipped a disc! Obviously in my field of work I’m on my feet all day and spend most of it bent at the hip so work had to stop and it was a stark reminder that as much as we do to keep strong and healthy our bodies have other ideas.

Thankfully Michael Robson Osteopathy got me able to start moving again. Highly recommend him! I don’t think I’d still be working if it wasn’t for his help over the years.

Anyway I decided to leave bootcamp for two weeks, times a week so really missed it 🥲. However I felt I needed a really good stretch and decided to go to a lunchtime class Ananda Yoga & Lifestyle Studio. I’ve known Andi for years and her style of yoga is right up my street but I’d not had the chance to go in recent years. Yoga with weights?Absolutely loved it! So this week it’s been about listening to what my body needed, taking time for me and getting myself back on track. Realised I need more yoga in my life and I’m sure you could benefit from it too. If you’ve not been to one of her classes, check them out. She’s got an amazing offer on of 4 classes for only £20. You’ll be hooked! Feel so grateful to have such amazing people locally. 🥰
