My next in-person 8 week Mindfulness course is available to book now. It’s based on the gold standard Jon Kabat-Zinn MBSR program which is taught worldwide.
Scientific research at medical and research centres around the work suggests that MBSR training can positively and often profoundly affect participants lives.
The benefits include - Stress reduction, a greater ability to manage anxiety and depression, improved self-care, improvement in symptoms of burnout, improved sense of well-being, reduction in chronic physical pain, improved attention and concentration.
One study also found that MBSR improved long-term memory.

Our Story

Leeds longest established secular meditation centre, Insight for Wellbeing offers meditation classes, including day retreats and evening courses. We offer regular classes in mindfulness meditation and in Ta**ra yoga meditation (which works with mindful awareness, visualisation and mantra). Courses are offered for complete beginners to those with experience and are held in our specially constructed meditation house, snuggled in a beautiful spot overlooking Gledhow Valley Woods.
