Parents often ask us for before and after images but for patient confidentiality reasons we can't share without permission. Here are two anonymised images of before and after scans of recent results that you might find of interest though. You can see that the assymmetry and front to back proportion have improved significantly and this was achieved in under six months in both cases.

Plagiocephaly awareness matters!

Every parent deserves to feel informed and supported. This heartfelt message from a concerned parent, whose baby is now too old for treatment, reminds us why raising awareness about plagiocephaly is so important:

"You’ve really reassured me and calmed me down as it hasn’t been easy to find someone with much knowledge on the subject. I’m just so thankful to you for your kindness.

I wish that alongside the safe sleep campaign there is a note of the side effects accompanied with placing babies on firm flat surfaces. As a first time mum amidst a global pandemic, I was completely and utterly clueless about this. We couldn't even go to groups and see what was normal and make new friends going through similar experiences! Looking back it’s quite shocking really!

Thank you so much once again. I am so grateful."

Great news! Glad to see Harry's progress ✨

Last year, Harry’s mum Chelsea contacted Tree of Hope for help in raising money for a Plagiocephaly/Brachycephaly Helmet through Technology in Motion.

Babies who develop a ‘flat head’ in the first few months of their lives can often be assessed for a corrective helmet to re-shape their heads whilst their skulls develop and form. Due to his age of over 12-months old, time was of the essence for Chelsea to raise the funds quickly, and incredibly, Harry’s family raised over £3,000 in less than 48-hours!

Chelsea updated us during Harry’s treatment to say that it was going very well! “He’s moved a few percentile which is good. At his age, any movement is movement, so we’re pleased!
