Seacroft Green Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality nursing, dementia and short-term respite care. Our focus is people, everybody matters and we really care.

Offering 76 beds for nursing, intermediate and respite care alongside residential beds for working age adults who need living support, Seacroft Green Care Centre stands majestically beside the Village Green and adjacent to Seacroft Grange Care Village in the centre of this close knit community. Working closely with award winning architects and interior designers, we believe we have created a Care Centre like no other. Light positively streams in from all sides, and each of the four floors has its own unique identity. We have brought together a full complement of highly skilled healthcare professionals whose passion and commitment to the highest possible standards is evident in everything that they do. Residents, visitors, colleagues … our job is to care and that is what we do.

What a lovely Working Aged Adults, cooking session at Seacroft Green Care Home on Friday 🥗

During our recent WAA meeting, it was requested by residents that they would like a cooking class with Eurico. That was arranged!

Residents enjoyed a hands on cooking class with wonderful resident Eurico, making meatball marinara subs and a fresh side salad together. Lots of mixing, shaping and laughter and a delicious meal at the end! 🥰

We have a very special guest joining us for our Easter Raffle Draw… and we think some of you might recognise him! 🦏

🐾 A Special Delivery from Dexter! 🐾

Anyone who has visited Seacroft Green will have met our lovely dogs, Rio and Dexter. They belong to our manager, Mar, and they bring so much joy and warmth to the home for both residents and staff.

Today, Dexter took on an important job — delivering the post to some of our residents! After completing his duties, he of course earned a very well-deserved treat. Along the way, Dexter also stopped for plenty of cuddles and made Elsie’s day extra special. 🐶❤️

Having pets around the home brings many wonderful benefits. They can help reduce loneliness, lift mood, encourage conversation, and bring back fond memories of beloved pets from residents’ pasts. Animals also have a calming effect and create those lovely moments of connection that make our home feel even more like family.

Safe to say, Dexter’s deliveries are always the most popular post of the day! 📬🐾

BONGO B.I.N.GO at Seacroft Green Care

Yesterday afternoon residents from all communities came together for a few exciting games of Bongo Bingo with Sam 💃
It truly was a full house and the room was full of laughter, music and excitement.

Every time someone won a line there was random dancing to celebrational music… and of course the carers had to jump up and celebrate with a little dance too! 🥰

A fabulous afternoon enjoyed by everyone! 🎶

Doreen didn’t just celebrate her birthday in style… she absolutely aced bingo afterwards, winning not one but two prizes! A small bottle of prosecco and some chocolate. The perfect little extras for the birthday queen! 👑🍫🥂

Our singing session took us on quite the musical journey today! We started with a little Bob Marley warm-up, moved onto some beautiful songs of worship, and then finished in style… dancing and jiving to some classic 1950s rock and roll! 💃🕺

Safe to say there were plenty of smiles, fancy dance moves, and lots of laughter along the way! Music really does bring everyone together. 🥰

Today, we celebrated not one, but TWO very special birthdays!🎉🎈

One birthday wish was simple… a trip to the pub 🍻 and of course... wish granted! A lovely outing topped off with a large G&T ordered in true birthday style!

The second wish?... something a little different and Home Manager Mar made it happen! He popped to Greggs to create the most amazing sausage roll cake because who says birthdays have to be sweet? 🥳

Today we celebrated a very special lady - Mumma V! (Victoria 😆)

After 9 incredible years Seacroft Green Care Home, we are saying goodbye to one of our original OG crew members. From day one, Mumma V, has been part of the heart and soul of our home, bringing warmth, laughter, strength and endless care to residents and colleagues alike.

Her dedication, kindness and cheeky sense of humour will be truly missed. She has helped shape Seacroft Green into the loving community it is today.

Thank you for everything, Mumma V. Wishing you a retirement filled with rest, happiness and all the joy you deserve. ❤️💐
