UPDATE Thanks so much everyone! I think we have enough people now, that was quick! Comment here or send us a message if you'd like us to put you in touch with graduates who might offer discounted treatments to practise their new techniques, but they're mostly coming from further afield, Todmorden, Newcastle etc.

Leeds friends: we need some lovely peeps to receive a free massage in Headingley on Saturday or Sunday next week (13th/14th) as part of our Ayurvedic Yoga Massage CPD training on pregnancy and neuropathic pain. We need:
1. Three pregnant ladies. Would be useful if at least one of them was end of third trimester, and also useful if someone has swelling around the ankles/low legs and/or arms/hands (we can help!).
2. Anyone who has serious nerve pains anywhere in their body (nerve related headaches, nerve pain in the neck/shoulders, inexplicable sharp pains around the ribcage area/down the arms, carpal tunnel pain, sciatica-like back or leg pains, knee pain, anything else that is nerve related).

Taster Ayurvedic Yoga Massage treatments

We will be offering these from our treatment room at Heart (on the first floor), so head up there to chat to the therapists and to sign up to have a short treatment.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is an amazing combination of oil massage, stretches, mobilisations and tractions. It is adjusted to how the person feels on the day and can be soothing, nurturing, relaxing and remedial. It can help reduce stress, improve breathing capacity, posture, digestion, sleep, circulation, it can help reduce pains and aches. It can help you feel more centred, focused, more like yourself!

We'd love to welcome you to our upcoming Ayurvedic Yoga Massage workshop!
Tuesday 13 June 10 AM - 2 PM in Leeds, by charity donation

Learn to give an amazing massage for friends a family, and receive some amazing massage yourself, sharing the experience with some lovely people in the process!

This workshop will be led by a wonderful team of trainee AYM workshop teachers: Amy, Jaqueline, Vikki and Avelino. Come and have an amazing experience and also contribute to our training, by joining this workshop! Our teacher Despina will also be there to support everyone and answer any questions too. Limited availability, you can secure your spot by donating to one of our supported charities (we will send you links so you can choose). As a guide, we suggest a donation of around £25-35 per participant, but please donate what you feel you can afford.

Leeds Friends,

We need some pregnant people and people with nerve pains to come and receive some free/by donation Ayurvedic Yoga Massage! If you are/know either, please read on/put us in touch!

1. We need four more pregnant ladies (any stage of pregnancy) to come and receive an amazing 90-min Ayurvedic Yoga Massage for pregnancy in exchange for a small donation which will go to charity (Also Optional) on Friday morning, at We Are Wellness in Headingley. We'll need them to come for around 10.30-12.30 am. This is the end of our AYM for pregnancy therapist training, and all the trainees are experienced AYM therapists.

Also, if you have or know anyone with fibromyalgia or neuropathic back/leg/knee, neck or shoulder/arm/elbow/carpal tunnel pain or neuropathic headaches, ask them to get in touch , we need case studies. We can be more flexible with times with nerve pain clients (including the weekend), as we will be treating one client at a time, with students watching/asking questions.
