Last Monday we enjoyed a wonderful visit to Roundhay Park 🌿

We spent time walking around the park, had a lovely lunch, and finished with a coffee in the café. With the sun shining, it truly was a beautiful day!

Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to recently at Meadowbrook 🌸

We had lots of fun decorating our Easter bonnets, getting creative with colours and designs. Rochelle joined us for a lovely singing session, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed 🎶

We were kindly donated some beautiful flowers, perfect for our relaxing flower arranging session 🌼 Jody also visited and led some fantastic chair exercises to keep us active and moving 💪

There was plenty of friendly competition during our carpet bowls games, and we even got out into the community to promote our upcoming coffee morning ☕

We’ve also enjoyed trips out to local garden centres, soaking up some fresh air 🌿

To top it all off, Trish led a wonderful reminiscence session all about babies, sparking lots of lovely memories and conversations, the residents really enjoyed this 💕

Look what we’ve been up to over the last few days!

We decorated some lovely cups with our own unique designs ☕🎨
We also enjoyed a couple of fun games of bingo, which brought plenty of laughs.

To keep us moving, we had some great exercise sessions with Jody and Tom, helping us stay active and fit 💪

We’ve also made a start on our Easter decorations and enjoyed lovely outing to our local garden centre for coffee and cake 🌸🐣

Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Tropical World last week! 🌿🦋
They had a wonderful time exploring the different habitats, spotting colourful butterflies, and meeting some very fascinating birds! 🐦

Lots happening at Meadowbrook...

We were incredibly grateful to receive a lovely donation from M&S Foodhall - The Springs Leeds - The Springs Leeds – thank you again for your generosity! 💛

We also enjoyed a wonderful trip out to the Thackray Medical Museum, which was both fascinating and fun for everyone involved.

Our Chinese New Year celebrations were full of activities and lovely food🏮🐉

There was plenty of friendly competition during carpet bowls, lots of energy at our usual exercise session with Jody 💪, and we rounded things off with a fantastic sing-along using our karaoke machine 🎤🎶

We had some very special visitors at Meadowbrook last week!

Our residents enjoyed meeting a variety of different animals — and we discovered we have some very brave residents. From gentle pets to a few more adventurous encounters 🐍🕷️🦎

We had a wonderful time celebrating Pancake Day and Valentine’s Day here at Meadowbrook!

Everyone enjoyed getting involved in lots of fun activities. We played dominoes, took part in our weekly exercises, completed jigsaws, and enjoyed many more games together.
