We had a wonderful time celebrating Pancake Day and Valentine’s Day here at Meadowbrook!

Everyone enjoyed getting involved in lots of fun activities. We played dominoes, took part in our weekly exercises, completed jigsaws, and enjoyed many more games together.

Our lovely residents have enjoyed getting pampered in our new nail salon this week 💅💅

Over the last couple of weeks, we have had lots of lovely flowers kindly donated by M&S Foodhall - The Springs Leeds

Thank you once again for your generosity — these beautiful blooms truly put a smile on all of our residents’ faces and brightened their day. 🌸💐

Lots going on at Meadowbrook!

We celebrated Australia Day, 🇦🇺
Enjoyed our weekly exercises with Jodie and Tom,
Made Valentine’s crafts, ❤️
Visited the local garden centre café for coffee and cake☕️🍰 and spent time playing games and doing jigsaws.

Here’s a peek at some of the activities we’ve been enjoying over the last few weeks at Meadowbrook!

We headed out on a shopping trip to pick up new nail varnishes for our nail table and stopped off for a coffee along the way. We’ve had lots of fun playing Bingo, getting creative with flower arranging, and enjoying some pamper time with freshly painted nails.

Crafting sessions have kept our hands busy, and we were treated to a fantastic sing-along with Mark, who had everyone up dancing and smiling.

Lots going on at Meadowbrook!

We enjoyed a lovely coffee and catch-up at our favourite garden centre ☕🌿, a fantastic panto performance from Carole at Cats Pyjamas 🎭, and even made a start on our Valentine’s crafts ❤️.

We kept moving with chair exercises with Jody, got creative decorating biscuits 🍪, enjoyed a residents birthday🎂, and finished on a high dancing along to Lisa’s Motown & soul set 💃🕺 — what a week!

Here’s a peek at what our lovely residents have been up to over the last couple of weeks 💛

We’ve enjoyed our usual Knit and Natter group, where we’ve started some new patterns. The beautiful blanket we’ve all been working so hard on has finally been finished.

Everyone got crafty, and we enjoyed a few lively games of Bingo. Our carpet bowls sessions proved to be very popular and quite competitive.

Residents also enjoyed spending time doing puzzles, arranging lovely flowers for our dining table, and taking part in our regular chair exercises with Jodie, helping us stay active and smiling.
