answer. Loan sharks prey on those in need, leading to mounting debt and
relentless pressure. If you're struggling, reach out to local support services or
look for a safer way to borrow, such as a credit union or CDFI. If you think you or someone you

LCH is once again supporting the Leeds Winter Coat Appeal, which we’ve proudly been involved with for the past two years. Last year, this campaign donated over 8,900 winter items – beating the previous total of 7,500. This year we have donation bins at Bramley, Halton, Middleton, Meanwood and White Rose Park.

The last day for donations is 30 January 2026, with the aim that all coats and winter items will be distributed by the end of February.

Got leftover antibiotics at home? Don’t bin them. Don’t flush them. Return them to your pharmacy for safe disposal.

Dispose of them responsibly. Return unused or expired antibiotics to a pharmacy, don't save them or throw them in household waste or water.
