Your small actions make a BIG difference:

🎄Visit, invite them for tea, or simply call an elderly neighbour or relative who may be alone.
🎄 Offer to help with shopping or decorating to ease the holiday stress.
🎄 Encourage participation by offering to accompany them to a local charity event or function.

We've had a truly lovely time welcoming the wonderful Millie and Toby from the Wonky Donkey Sanctuary to Springfield Care Home.

These two brought so many smiles to our residents! It's amazing to see the joy animal visits bring. Thank you to the sanctuary team for bringing them to see us!

Last week, our residents enjoyed a truly special and cozy Bonfire Night celebration here at Springfield Care Home 🎆

It was a wonderful evening filled with treats, warm drinks and a beautiful fireworks display watched from the comfort and safety of the home. Everyone loved the spectacular colours lighting up the sky!

Our team ensured the evening was warm, fun and memorable for everyone. It was lovely seeing all the happy faces enjoying fireworks together. A big thank you to our amazing staff for making this such a successful and safe night for our residents!

Today, on Remembrance Day, we join the nation in a moment of quiet reflection to honour the service, sacrifice, and courage of the Armed Forces community.

At 11:00 AM, we will observe the Two-Minute Silence in our Care Home and across our services to remember all those who have lost their lives in conflict and those who continue to live with the physical and mental scars of service.

We especially hold in our thoughts our veteran residents, customers, and their families, as well as our veteran team members, who have given so much.
