My little happy place getting a full deep clean after another busy week ✨

The SCW Studio brings me so much joy every single day. My mission when becoming a Personal Trainer and building the studio was to provide a safe, knowledgeable and rewarding space for women to lift weights with confidence, feel strong and immensely proud of what their bodies and mind can achieve 💪🏻

Whether you train with me for weeks, months or years you'll always be made to feel incredibly welcome. I might even make you a coffee 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

Straight Leg Deadlift and Romanian Deadlift, do you know the difference?

1) Straight Leg DL - Primary muscle under tension - Hamstrings. Hinge at the hips whilst moving the weight down your legs (the closer the better!). Maintain a neutral spine, keep your knees soft and your legs straight.

2) Romanian DL - Primary muscle under tension - Glutes. Hinge at the hips, pushing your glutes back (imagine closing a door with your bum!). Maintain a neutral spine, legs bent.

Both exercises can be a hard one to master but keep practicing and try using alternative equipment to help with your technique (dumbbells, kettlebells or a barbell) 💪🏻
