As we continue to grow launching more groups, running more events, and generally taking over the universe Adi could use a little extra support behind the scenes.

We asked Mark to step up. While he (very politely) declined the title of Adi’s Personal Assistant, he has officially taken on the role of Operations Manager

Mark will be helping keep everything organised, managing the day-to-day “behind the scenes” work, and making sure the wheels keep turning so we stay visible, moving forward, and able to support even more veterans.

Don’t worry he’ll still be providing our members with his incredible counselling services, guidance, and that calm, level-headed wisdom he’s known for. As always, offering sound advice and steady support when it matters most.

We’re incredibly grateful to have him on board in this expanded role.

❤️🖤As we’re at the start of the year (well… kind of 😄), we thought it was a good time to remind everyone what we do.

We run weekly groups that offer support if you want it, a strong sense of community, and good old-fashioned military camaraderie.

Alongside that, we have a monthly social club and a monthly breakfast club, giving you more chances to connect in a relaxed setting.

Throughout the year we also organise social events, camping trips, and fundraising activities, so there’s always something going on.

You don’t need to attend our weekly support groups to come along to any of our other events. We know different environments work better for different people — whether you’re looking for support or just want to socialise, you’ll be made to feel just as much a part of our community.

All veterans welcome.

We’ve got a change coming to our Morley group ❤️

Our amazing Adam has made the decision to step down as facilitator due to personal commitments. He’s done an incredible job, and we can’t thank him enough for the dedication, time, and care he’s given to the group. The support he’s offered our members has been truly invaluable and appreciated more than words can say.

Stepping into the facilitator role will be Malcolm, working alongside Carol 🙌

Malcolm has been part of our group for quite some time, and we know he’ll be fantastic. His approachable, welcoming nature helps everyone feel part of the community from the moment they walk through the door.

A huge thank you to Malcolm for stepping up and committing his time to help us continue providing a supportive and welcoming environment for our local veterans ❤️🖤

🎄 A huge Merry Christmas from everyone at VINT 🎄

We want to wish all our members, facilitators, supporters, and the wider VINT family a very happy Christmas. Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting one another throughout the year ❤️🖤

For anyone who finds Christmas a difficult time, please remember there’s no right or wrong way to get through it. Take the pressure off yourself and do whatever feels easiest and safest for you. That’s more than enough. You’re not alone.

And to our VINT kids — we’re pretty sure you’re all firmly on the nice list, so we hope Santa pays you a visit 🎅✨

Because of Christmas, our group nights are changing slightly over the next couple of weeks.

👉 Both Morley and Stanningley groups will run on Mondays for the next two weeks:
