🚫 Your pelvis is NOT “out of place.” And no one can “pop it back in.” 🚫
We need to talk about one of the biggest myths in pelvic health and musculoskeletal care.
Your pelvis is incredibly strong and stable, it’s central to how your entire body functions. It’s the meeting point between your spine and your legs, the hub where movement, stability, and strength all connect. Every step you take, every time you lift, twist, or even breathe deeply, your pelvis plays a role.
The joints in your pelvis (like the sacroiliac joints) move only a few millimetres, so if someone tells you your pelvis or sacrum is “out of alignment”, or that they can “put it back in place”, it’s time to question that narrative.
These joints do not sublux or dislocate in everyday circumstances. When pain occurs around the pelvis, it is far more likely related to muscular tension or weakness, altered load distribution, hormonal influences, or movement pattern adaptations — not bones shifting out of place
What helps instead?
✅ Targeted exercise and movement
✅ Treatment that supports mobility and comfort
✅ Strengthening and retraining how your body moves
Your pelvis doesn’t need “fixing” — it needs understanding, strength, and support.
Let’s change the narrative.
