Communicating with older people can invaluably improve safeguarding. It is worthy taking the time to talk and listen to older people’s concerns, be it at a residential home or in their own home. Older people should be encouraged to look after each other and report concerns about their safety, to the responsible person or any trusted individual (Senior Carer, Supervisor or Manager). At Goshen Social Care we try our best to inform and encourage our Service Users to report any concerns about their safety, at the same time assuring them of their freedom from victimization.
