Welcome to my room 🥰 🪄 💫

I found this second picture online and it made me fall in love with my job all over again. I feel like being a dentist really matters and I can really help people and give back. If you’re scared of the dentist and wanting to keep an eye at a distance that feels safe… this is my room and it’s designed to feel clean, spacious and friendly! I’m here to hell whenever you’re ready and my DMs are always open too! 🥰
My room doesn’t smell clinical either (🤢), I have pink sands yankee essence and it smells divine.. better than my lounge at home! Alexa and my ceiling TV are also ready to serve as a distraction if you’re nervous or feeling anxiety about how to pass time during a longer appointment! 🥰

Thank you to our incredibly kind patient Jack for gifting us with this incredibly thoughtful gift to say an extra thank you for his beautiful new smile! It’s a gold (to match .dental.studio.leeds theme!) bottle of Prosecco with a photo of James and I in front of our practice as the label! I think we will probably keep this bottle forever! The greatest pleasure is that you are in love with your dream new smile as much as we are!! 🤩🤩

You are all so incredibly kind and thoughtful with us, we are so incredibly lucky to have each other and you guys as patients!! (Our Vitruvian fam preferred the phot of us looking deep into each other’s eyes, we prefer the second smiling one! What’s your vote? 👀❤️🥰)

Difficult case… missing lateral incisors, hoping to mask this without making teeth appear oversized.

What are our treatment options?
💫 Teeth movement to creat space for lateral incisors and then fill this space with a denture/ bridge/ implant with false laterals
💫 Composite veneers to create illusion of canines being laterals and first premolars being canines (treating centrals is also advised in this case to help with smile proportion)
💫 Lab made veneers, same concept as composite veneers but much stronger!
💫 Crowns, same concept again but less likely to come off… however this involves a high level of tooth removal to achieve this
💫 Always the option of leave and accept!

We opted for front 6 upper teeth eMax veneers and wow what a result!! Impossible to tell any teeth are missing and in our opinion completely dream smile!!!

Which tooth had internal tooth whitening? … swipe to see if you guessed correctly!

If you have a dark tooth, it is possible to make this tooth coloured again! This usually involves first whitening from within the darker tooth. Sometimes further treatment can also be carried out for a perfect final finish in the form or a composite or lab made veneer (or crown if needed) 💫😁🪄

This transformation was completely life changing for my lovely patient. My patient now smiles and shows her teeth when talking (which they didn’t before)

In this picture, I am placing composite veneers to transform my lovely patients smile!

I commonly get questions from dentists asking which courses I have done, and how I decided to choose cosmetic dentistry as my clinical niche. In all honesty I have been fascinated with mixing art and science since Year 4 at school. I can remember sitting with my crayons sketching/ drawing/ colouring images copied from human body anatomy books and finding it absolutely fascinating. I will have been age 8/ 9 years.
Moving forwards a few years I completed dentistry work experience and found it absolutely incredible firstly that we can fix people’s pain, and secondly that people can walk in with little/ no smile confidence and then walk out the very same day beaming with confidence through a smile transformation.
Fast forward a few more years and in dental school. I was lucky enough (you can’t choose cases) to receive a patient requiring reestablishing his occlusion and part of this had the effects of a smile transformation. I witnessed his character completely change as his confidence increased with his smile, and I personally found the feeling extremely rewarding.
Straight out of uni, I entered into private dentistry. I have always had a natural skill for art and have continuously built my smile portfolio… eventually leading to my skillset today. Uni teaches to an unbelievable level and pairing this with experience has lead to me leaving and breathing my absolute dream career!
(I still can’t successfully tie back my flyaway baby hairs though!! 😅🤣)

It’s all about the detail! Here is a side smile of these lovely teeth.. we are looking at a mix of veneers, crowns and a bridge. Can you guys tell the difference? (The goal of this answer is no!) We have opted for a natural shade and some surface texture (tertiary anatomy)… lab work such as veneers/ crowns/ bridges do not need to look fake, here is our stunning evidence!! 🤩🤩🤩

Me again guys! I’m sharing this picture with you to show composite veneer in a different light… they can look completely natural if this is your choice! Flat, straight, white edges are beautiful and so are these! I have created this natural appearance using many different composite shades, including dentine/ enamel mixes and translucency. I have also added natural tooth markings called “tertiary anatomy”. One thing I love about a more “natural” look is that it is a much more difficult look to create and achieve, heading towards a completely artistic eye for dentistry. My career goal was to pair art and science.. for me, nothing does this more than creating stunning teeth like these! I hope you all love them as much as me and my wonderful patient! 🥰
Ps… I treated upper front 6 teeth.. these teeth had strong white marks (fluorosis) and a much smaller appearance. We have completely covered white marks and created a more full smile! 🤍🦷🤩

Dreamy wedding smile ready! This lovely patient presented with a 1 week timescale before his wedding to complete his smile! Despite being fully booked I stayed after work with James until 10pm to ensure their smile was ready for his wedding in time using composite veneers! We were all over the moon with these incredible results and I’m always forever grateful for every patient that kindly trusts me with their smile transformations! Soo shiny!!! 😍😍😍
