Last week, we hosted our first Charity Event of 2026 - a company-wide Bake Sale! 🍰

At Steeper HQ, we dusted our aprons and baked delicious treats to donate and sell - from fresh bread and sausage rolls, to cookies and old school cake!🍪 All in aid of raising money for our Charity partner, Bone Cancer Research Trust, on their 20th anniversary.

Overall, we raised over £360, which will be going towards helping those affected with bone cancer🧡

Two years ago, we first filmed Jade Crabtree shortly after being fitted with her QUATTRO microprocessor knee. We recently caught up with her to see how life has changed. Jade now lives independently and goes to the gym six days a week, something she never thought would be part of her life again.

"My proudest thing is gaining so much confidence and independence, I genuinely never thought I would get to that point."

As a result of muscle atrophy in the back, it can be common for children with SMA to develop scoliosis.

Working in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, Steeper Orthotist Kate Chauhan was able to provide Cai with a spinal brace to improve his day-to-day comfort living with SMA Type 2.
