Located in Leeds, our vibrant community space 'ARK' serves as a hub where we provide a range of youth empowerment activities. CATCH is a registered charity driven by a team of passionate volunteers dedicated to making a meaningful difference in our community. We proudly operate 'ARK,' a vibrant, multifunctional community space in Harehills, Leeds, where we provide a wide range of activities designed to inspire and empower children and young people from all backgrounds. Our offerings go beyond youth programs. We provide room hire for events, meetings, and workshops, welcoming both individuals and businesses who want to contribute to the community while accessing a versatile space. By choosing ARK, businesses can give back to their community while hosting their events in a setting that supports positive social change. We also offer essential first aid courses, equipping individuals with the skills they need to respond confidently in emergencies. Our educational farm, home to a variety of animals, provides a unique, hands-on learning experience for all ages, connecting people with nature and fostering a sense of responsibility and care. At CATCH, we believe in the power of community and invite you to join us in creating a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone.

We loved coming together with Gordon’s LLP to host a Christmas party for their apprentices and our Catch volunteers. An evening filled with games, good food, and time to celebrate the amazing young people who’ve grown, supported one another, and achieved so much over the year. Even Santa dropped by with presents for the young people, making it an extra special way to end the year ✨🎅

What an incredible turnout from our volunteers 💛

Even on the coldest days they’ve shown up to make sure our animals are safe, cared for, and happy — and that our youth sessions continue as normal so kids have a warm, safe place to come, connect, and belong 🤍

From emptying the trailer to sitting down and playing games, we are one family.

A special shout-out to our 3 new volunteers who have worked so hard to earn their CATCH shirts and 1 who has earned his farm hat AND Catch hoodie all in one day — we are so proud and grateful of all of you ✨

Our Catch Union presidential elections were nothing short of inspiring! 💼✨

Our young volunteers showed up prepared, polished, and ready to lead—some even came dressed to the 9s with full suits and briefcases. We watched young people command a room with confidence, speak with power, and display skills we don’t often see anymore.

We are unbelievably proud of every single one of them. The future looks bright. 🌟

And as for the winners…

🌟 A fun twist at this year’s LLA breakfast — we brought Farm On Wheels along for the ride! 🌟

Our alpacas and llamas definitely stole the spotlight… and maybe distracted a few people from the speakers 👀😂 But they brought so much joy, curiosity, and connection to the event.

In a space all about collaboration, there was no better way to spark conversations and smiles than watching people come together around our amazing animals.

From shared laughter to unexpected learning moments, it was a brilliant reminder of how community and creativity can elevate any event. 🦙💛

A huge shout-out to the amazing CATCH volunteers and Leeds City College volunteers who supported both the breakfast and our animals throughout the day — their enthusiasm and teamwork made everything run smoothly. 🦙

Six of our wonderful volunteers took on the Abbey Dash 10k run this morning - a true display of dedication, teamwork, and community spirit 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️✨

The atmosphere was incredible: smiling faces, supportive cheers, and plenty of well-earned sweat. We’re so grateful to everyone who’s supported us so far ❤️

We’ve already raised £700, and we’re deeply thankful. With your help, we’d love to reach our £1,000 goal 🙏✨

Last week we had the pleasure of visiting Gordon’s LLP in Leeds City, where James Pearson and Ebony Sawant delivered a presentation alongside two of our incredible young volunteers.

We’re proud to share that Gordon’s LLP has chosen CATCH as their Charity of the Year, and this partnership is already opening doors for
our young people. Opportunities like this give them real-world experience, confidence, and the chance to use their voices in professional spaces.

A huge thank you to the team at Gordon’s for welcoming us and believing in the potential of our young people. We’re excited for what this year’s partnership will bring!

What an incredible night at Leeds Playhouse! 🎭✨

Thanks to the amazing support from the team at Leeds Playhouse, we were able to take 20 of our young people to watch A Christmas Carol and they absolutely loved every moment.

We made sure to bring along as many of our GCSE students as possible, knowing how much this experience could support their English exams. And it worked — they’ve come back buzzing with excitement, inspired by the story, and more motivated than ever.

Moments like these remind us how powerful community, kindness, and the arts can be.

Here’s to creating more opportunities, more memories, and more confidence in our young people. ✨

Last night, one of our incredible young people had the honour of representing CATCH at the Aspire Property Awards Evening 2025 and what an unforgettable night it was!

At just 17, James stood in front of a room of over 200 people, full of property developers and an inspiring community built on support and camaraderie. He delivered a powerful speech, sharing his journey with CATCH and introducing our mission to the room. His honesty, confidence, and determination left everyone in awe - earning applause, cheers, and even a standing ovation.

James’ story is a testament to what hard work, resilience, and overcoming obstacles can achieve. He represented CATCH with pride and passion, and we couldn’t be more proud of him.

We were honoured to be chosen as Aspire Property’s charity to support. Their values of building community, improving lives, and supporting people align beautifully with the mission of CATCH. The evening at the Queens Hotel in Leeds was filled with great conversations, great food, uplifting music, and so many motivating connections.

Aspire Property’s mentoring scheme is helping the next generation of property developers thrive - and James made such an impact that Aspire generously pledged to double all funds raised for CATCH.

We’re incredibly grateful for the warm welcome, the inspiring atmosphere, and the huge interest from so many who now want to learn more about what CATCH is all about.
