Located in Leeds, our vibrant community space 'ARK' serves as a hub where we provide a range of youth empowerment activities. CATCH is a registered charity driven by a team of passionate volunteers dedicated to making a meaningful difference in our community. We proudly operate 'ARK,' a vibrant, multifunctional community space in Harehills, Leeds, where we provide a wide range of activities designed to inspire and empower children and young people from all backgrounds. Our offerings go beyond youth programs. We provide room hire for events, meetings, and workshops, welcoming both individuals and businesses who want to contribute to the community while accessing a versatile space. By choosing ARK, businesses can give back to their community while hosting their events in a setting that supports positive social change. We also offer essential first aid courses, equipping individuals with the skills they need to respond confidently in emergencies. Our educational farm, home to a variety of animals, provides a unique, hands-on learning experience for all ages, connecting people with nature and fostering a sense of responsibility and care. At CATCH, we believe in the power of community and invite you to join us in creating a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone.

Looking for fresh, affordable food in a welcoming community space?

Catch Up Café is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am – 2pm, serving a delicious variety of freshly prepared food and drinks. Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, or a quick coffee, there’s something for everyone.

What makes us special? 🌱
We’re based at CATCH, with a farm right on site, meaning some of our produce is grown just steps away from your plate. Fresh, local, and supporting young people and the community.

Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere. Bring a friend, have a meeting, or just take a well-earned break.

What a busy and beautiful weekend! 💚

This Saturday our amazing volunteers came together to deliver hay to the animals, clean the site, freshen up the fish tank, litter pick, and take care of so many other important jobs. On top of all that, they even learned new skills from our amazing electrician - growing their confidence while helping CATCH thrive!

Every task, big or small, was done with heart. This is what true dedication, teamwork, and love for animals looks like. We couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible community! 💛

Our Vaccine event - Tuesday 17th February

CATCH Leeds is hosting a Vaccine Awareness & Drop-In Clinic to help residents feel informed, supported, and protected.

Whether you have questions, need to check your vaccine record, or want to receive your MMR vaccine, this is a safe, friendly space with professionals ready to support you.

From fairy fashion shows to baking cakes, there’s nothing we don’t do!

An incredible evening at the Apprenticeship Fair!

20 of our young people came along to explore different career paths and apprenticeship opportunities at this years Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair!

They spoke to employers.
They asked questions.
They learned about real routes into real jobs.

Events like this make a difference.

They build confidence.
They raise aspirations.
They show young people what’s possible.

We’re proud to support them as they think about their futures and take positive steps forward 💚

Today we hosted a pop-up stall at Carr Manor Community School and it was fantastic to connect with so many young people and families.

Pop-ups like this are so important. They help us:

🌱 Raise awareness about opportunities at CATCH
🤝 Build trust within the community
🎯 Signpost young people to positive activities and support
🌍 Strengthen partnerships with local schools

Being visible in schools means young people know who we are, what we do, and how they can get involved. It’s about creating safe spaces, building confidence, and opening doors to new experiences.

🌟 Behind the scenes at the Leeds Learning Alliance Youth Summit at Carr Manor Community School! 🌟

This year, collaboration started strong with our amazing CATCH volunteers and Leeds City College students supporting the event and actively taking part in the Youth Summit.

They had the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions and were given a safe, supportive space to build their leadership and communication skills.

This is partnership in action — young people are truly the heart and soul of the LLA 💙

From action-packed football tournaments ran by our amazing volunteer Denis, to oral health with the NHS Trust to exploring apprenticeship opportunities with Employment & Skills Leeds.

Our students and volunteers from Leeds City College teamed up with the amazing VIY to board and insulate the gym interior! 💥

This powerhouse group of young people picked up incredible hands-on skills that will stick with them for life, earned a qualification, and built something real with their own hands. Huge shout-out to the brilliant VIY team for making it happen. They built it themselves and they’ll take serious pride in this space every time they walk in!

This is just the beginning - there’s more to come, with even more students getting involved and doing amazing work!
