Located in Leeds, our vibrant community space 'ARK' serves as a hub where we provide a range of youth empowerment activities. CATCH is a registered charity driven by a team of passionate volunteers dedicated to making a meaningful difference in our community. We proudly operate 'ARK,' a vibrant, multifunctional community space in Harehills, Leeds, where we provide a wide range of activities designed to inspire and empower children and young people from all backgrounds. Our offerings go beyond youth programs. We provide room hire for events, meetings, and workshops, welcoming both individuals and businesses who want to contribute to the community while accessing a versatile space. By choosing ARK, businesses can give back to their community while hosting their events in a setting that supports positive social change. We also offer essential first aid courses, equipping individuals with the skills they need to respond confidently in emergencies. Our educational farm, home to a variety of animals, provides a unique, hands-on learning experience for all ages, connecting people with nature and fostering a sense of responsibility and care. We’re nearly at the end of the week but it’s still full on at CATCH 💥

While our evenings are dedicated to supporting our young people and volunteers, the daytime brings a different kind of energy. We open our doors for room bookings and venue hire, welcoming both community groups and corporate partners.

This morning we’ve been busy setting up for Give a Gift and hosting Sunflower ESOL 🌻

Every setup you see is made possible by our amazing volunteers, aged 9–17, who support us each evening - building skills, confidence, and making it all happen behind the scenes.

Huge congratulations to Ping Pong Pete 🏓

Pete has been an incredible part of the CATCH community, giving up his time each week to support and inspire young people through table tennis. From developing skills to building confidence and simply having fun, his impact both at CATCH and through our off-site provision, Restore, has been truly meaningful.

We’re proud to celebrate Pete for being named Coach of the Year by Table Tennis England. A well-deserved recognition for his dedication and passion.

If you want to get involved, Pete runs weekly sessions every Friday at 4:30pm at CATCH. Come along, get active, and be part of something special!

Colin, you are truly an amazing person who has done so much to support CATCH over the years, we appreciate you more than words can say. Your dedication and generosity continue to make a real difference.

We’re also so pleased to share a follow-up from the recent fundraising initiative, Colin’s Cause for Celebration, organised to mark Colin’s retirement. Between October and December 2025, colleagues across the group came together and took part in a fantastic range of activities, including yoga sessions, cycling challenges, and even a quiz night - all in support of CATCH.

It’s inspiring to see such a strong community come together for a great cause. Thank you all for your kindness, effort, and support - it truly means the world to us.

Ramadan was a beautiful time at Catch, where we came together to celebrate and open our fast as a community 🤍 From shared meals to meaningful moments, it truly brought us closer.

Our Link Up Monday sessions are nearly coming to an end!

Every Monday evening we opened our doors to young people aged 14–18, a space to hit the gym, hang out with friends, and most importantly, sit down together for real meaningful conversations.

It’s been amazing to see connections grow, stories shared, and young people supported in a space that’s safe, positive, and welcoming.

Grateful for every young person who showed up and made these evenings what they were.

What a busy and brilliant day yesterday! 🌱

Our amazing volunteers started the morning by cleaning out the polytunnels and getting everything ready for planting season. We also gave the pond and the whole site a good tidy - our young people always keep the space to such a high standard, and that’s exactly what CATCH inspires them to do!

Then it was straight into our evening youth session and it was just as busy! With the weather getting better we’ve been able to spend more time outside and our young people absolutely love it!

Days like this remind us how special our community is 💫

Youth sessions in full blast!

So many activities to keep them busy and excited, with lots still going on. With the weather getting better we’re hoping to bring back more roller disco soon 🛼☀️

Behind the Scenes at Amazon LBA5! 🚚

Young people from CATCH had the incredible opportunity to visit the Amazon Warehouse LBA5 in Leeds, getting a real behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring a parcel from warehouse to your front door.

From exploring operations, engineering, packaging, and the strategic planning that keeps everything moving, our young people saw first-hand the scale, technology, and teamwork involved in global logistics.

The visit also included an inspiring career workshop with experienced Amazon managers, where young people learned about different career pathways, asked questions, and explored future opportunities within the industry.

A huge thank you to Amazon for opening their doors and supporting CATCH in empowering young people, building aspirations, and strengthening a partnership built on shared values and opportunity for the next generation.
