✨ Trigger points in the upper back + shoulder are some of the most common I see in clinic.
From the upper traps and levator scapulae to the rotator cuff (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor), these muscles are prime hotspots for tension, referred pain, and movement restriction.
⚡️ Poor posture, stress, training load, and overhead sports all contribute — making this whole region one of the most trigger-point-prone areas in the body.
💆♂️ Releasing these points can help restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve shoulder function — especially for athletes.
