This weekend, tonidentoncounselling sarah_mckimm_counselling attended the TA101 Introduction to Transactional Analysis training with Northside Training northside_training

Transactional Analysis is a powerful framework for understanding communication, relationships, and the patterns we carry from early experiences into adulthood. It offers real insight into life scripts, internal messages, and how we relate to ourselves and others.

Spending two days immersed in both theory and practice gave us space to reflect on how these concepts show up in real life, not just professionally, but personally too.

At Unmasked, we are committed to continually deepening our knowledge and bringing meaningful, evidence-informed approaches into our work. This training will shape how we support our community, particularly around identity, relationships, and emotional awareness.

We are really looking forward to integrating this into our counselling, and wider support offer.

Continuous learning matters, because our community deserves thoughtful, informed, and evolving support.

Not all trauma can be worked through in low-cost or short-term support.

Some experiences need something different.

At Unmasked, our trauma therapy is a specialist offer, designed for people who want deeper, focused work, a trauma-informed approach, and support that goes beyond coping.

This isn’t about just managing symptoms.

It’s about gently working with your nervous system to process what’s been held for a long time.

We offer approaches such as:

• Rewind Technique, with no need to relive your trauma in detail
• Nervous system-informed therapy
• Neurodivergent-affirming support

This is delivered by experienced practitioners, in a space where your experiences are taken seriously, not minimised.

Important

This is separate from our low-cost counselling service.
