Today I visited a lovely lady who had several verrucas that had built up a thick layer of hard skin. Although I don’t treat verrucas themselves, I can safely reduce the hard, compacted skin around them. This makes any medical treatment she chooses to use far more effective.
In the before-and-after picture you can see the difference. I carefully removed the overlying callus, cleaned the area, and exposed the verruca cores so they’re no longer buried under thick skin. This means that any creams, gels, or treatments prescribed by her GP or pharmacist will be able to work much more efficiently.
If you’re in a similar position, experiencing discomfort or finding that over-the-counter products aren’t working, sometimes reducing the hard skin first can make all the difference. Feel free to get in touch if you need help with this.
