☃️Healthy Holidays: Sign up for Healthy Holidays Leeds this Winter!

School-aged children and young people eligible for income-related free school meals can take part in amazing, free activities with a healthy meal from 22 December to 2 January. Activities vary and can include sports, dance, arts and crafts, as well as visits to attractions like Temple Newsam and Lotherton Hall. Every child and young person will receive a tasty nutritious meal that meets their dietary requirements. There are Healthy Holidays clubs across Leeds. 📣Apply for / Renew your childcare code by 31 December!

If you’re an eligible working parent, you can get 30 hours childcare for your child from the term after they turn 9 months old up to school age.

The deadline to apply for your childcare code is 31 December to start using your childcare hours from 1 January.

What you need to know:
• Check what support you could get: Use the childcare support checker on the Best Start in Life website
• Speak to your childcare provider: Check that they offer the hours and confirm their arrangements.
• Keep your code up to date: You’ll need to reconfirm your details every 3 months via your GOV.UK account. You’ll get a reminder when it’s time.
