We had some wonderful pamper sessions last week! Bev, Kathleen, Maureen, Leona, Maureen, and Jackie all had their nails painted and their hands massaged.
Bev made use of our foot spa and said her feet have never felt better! 😁

Our 1st music session run by the Leeds Conservatoire students!

We had a wonderful time and excited to spend more time with the students doing different musical activities!☺️

These sessions will be running every Wednesday at 11:30am for the next 10 weeks!
All family and friends are welcome to join! 😁

On the 27th we had our 1st therapeutic movement and dance session with Tara!

We did some 1:1 movement sessions to start with and then headed to Franklin Suite.
The residents on Franklin Suite chose to have a very musical dance session with a few breathing exercises. We used various musical instruments and reminisced with all our favourite songs! 🕺🎶

We then headed to Presley Suite where we did more chair based exercises with lots of arm and leg movements, we finished the session off with some light stretches and some deep breaths! 😁

We are Currently practicing Moon River, Amazing Grace, Edelweiss and Somewhere over the Rainbow! 🌈🎶

All family and friends are welcome to join us next time! Our next sessions are on the 15th and 26th at 11am 😁

We had our 1st Threraputic music session with James Dey on the 26th.

We all really enjoyed reminiscing about our favourite songs 🎶

James brought us all some wonderful instruments and we had a wonderful Jam session. Joseph and Peter had some wonderful Tambourine Skills, Kathleen sang some Cilla Black and then Bev got up and sang it’s a wonderful world for us all 😁
