What do you enjoy about working at Green Acres?
My favourite thing about working at Green Acres is definitely interacting with the residents and their families. It’s so nice to see when people are happy in the environment and to just speak to everyone and learn about their personal life stories.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy staying active in my spare time whether that’s hiking or running. I am enthusiastic about music of all genres and enjoy going to lots of gigs and concerts with my friends. I enjoy socialising on the weekends and singing (badly) along to music.

What do you enjoy about working at Green Acres?
My favourite thing about working at Green Acres is building connections with all the lovely residents, I have enjoyed working at Green Acres for many years in various roles including head housekeeper, I previously won head housekeeper of the year! I now work as the Care Coordinator – which I really enjoy. I have built lovely relationships with staff and residents and Green Acres feels like a big family to me.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy working my Gun Dogs with my husband. I also really enjoy taking long walks in the lake district.

Today we had another brilliant session with Debutots Leeds West & Central!
Laura hosted a variety of activities throughout the session! We enjoyed the fun interactive story about Splat the Cat and singalong with instruments🎶📖

The children brought a bright and happy atmosphere for us all. We really enjoyed getting to see them all again😁
