Why you’re exhausted even after 8 hours of sleep 😴

If you wake up tired after a full night’s sleep… this isn’t necessarily a sleep problem.

Sleep duration doesn’t always equal restorative sleep.

Chronic stress keeps cortisol elevated 📈
And when cortisol stays high, your body can’t properly drop into deep, cellular repair overnight.

Add in:
⚡ Blood sugar dips
🧬 Nutrient deficiencies
🌙 Hormone imbalances

…and your body stays in survival mode all night.

So even if you’re doing “everything right” — the magnesium, the early night, the no screens — your physiology may never truly power down.

Today I became more aware of the balance between good stress and restoration.

The body needs challenge to adapt
but it needs pause to heal.

When we only push, we deplete.
When we only rest, we weaken.
Health lives in the rhythm between the two.
