Passed away peacefully at Glenfield Hospital on 8th January 2026 aged 54 years.

Fantastic Mom and Nanny, loving Daughter and Sister.

‘A gorgeous lady who was the life and soul of the party, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her and remembered with love ###.”

Funeral service and cremation at Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium, NG12 2PY on Friday 6th February 2026 at 2:30pm. After the service the family warmly invite you to join them at Thorpe Arnold Cricket Club, Waltham Road, Melton Mowbray, LE14 4SD.

Family flowers only please, donations to British Heart Foundation will be collected at the service.

6 of these mosaic butterflies were unfortunately damaged!

They have been glued back together and shown minor signs of repair.
The usual price for these are £25 each (we still have some undamaged ones full price, should you want one)

Unfortunately they are now not fit for sale so are on offer for a donation, you can collect one from us and leave a donation amount of your choice which we will pass on to Loros.

Christmas can be loud with lights, music, expectations and yet grief moves in whispers.
If you’re missing someone this Christmas, know this: you do not have to “do” the season properly. There is no timetable, no checklist, no gold star for coping well. Grief does not run on festive schedules.
You are allowed to take this season slowly. One breath. One hour. One small decision at a time. You are allowed to step away from traditions that hurt, and to cling tightly to the ones that comfort. You are allowed to feel joy and sorrow in the same moment they can sit together without cancelling each other out.
Grief at Christmas is not a failure of spirit; it is love with nowhere to go. So be gentle with yourself. Walk through these days step by step, not bravely, not perfectly just honestly. Rest when you need to. Cry when it comes. Smile when it surprises you. And if today is all you can manage, today is enough.
You are not behind. You are not doing this wrong.
You are simply remembering. And that, in itself, is an act of love. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember.
On this Remembrance Sunday, we honour those who gave their tomorrow so we could have our today. Their bravery, love, and sacrifice live on in the stillness, in the silence, and in every heartbeat of peace.

Beneath the quiet morning sky,
The poppies bloom where heroes lie.
Their voices rest, their duty done,
Yet peace was born from every one.
