Lady Jane Court is the latest care home in Aylestone area. Our team is dedicated to provide exceptional care in luxuries environment.

We welcome residents for a permanent as well as short therm stay for residential and residential dementia care. This purpose-built complex features 60 light, airy, spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each one is furnished to the highest standard and designed to provide residents with maximum comfort. The rooms feature resident interaction nurse call and information systems, so residents can rest assured they’ll always have the support they need, when they need it. It’s important that our residents feel comfortable, which is why we encourage them to make their space their own – with mementoes, keepsakes and other trinkets that remind them of those dearest to them. Our residents can also venture outside and enjoy the fresh air amidst our beautifully landscaped gardens. They’re the ideal setting for those quiet moments with a book or a newspaper.

At Lady Jane Court, we took time over several days to come together and honour Remembrance Day. We had a time to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country in times of war and peace.

Our residents and staff marked the occasion with a heartfelt two-minute silence, beautiful live entertainment, and by making our own poppy wreaths as a symbol of remembrance and hope since the end of the First World War. We also spent time sharing stories, memories, and reflections, keeping alive the spirit of gratitude and remembrance that this day represents.

As the weather hasn’t been great lately, we’re focusing on discovering more exciting indoor attractions to keep everyone engaged and entertained. Our residents had a wonderful time visiting the National Space Centre 🚀 They enjoyed exploring the interactive exhibits and learning fascinating facts about space exploration, including the UK’s role in satellite technology.

Our residents enjoy regular seated Zumba sessions with Zumba with Jo Coverson. These lively classes are always filled with smiles, music, and movement. ☺️

Seated Zumba offers a fun and accessible way for everyone to stay active, regardless of mobility levels. Regular exercise is especially important to our residents, as it helps maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, while also boosting mood and overall wellbeing. 🤸‍♂️

Our residents love taking part, knowing that each session supports both their physical health and social connection. 😀

This week for 2 days, our Client Liaison Manager, Justyna, was proudly supporting the Poppy Appeal at Morrisons, Freemans Common. 🌺

The Royal British Legion, which organises the annual Poppy Appeal, each year sales millions of poppies across the UK to raise funds for veterans and their loved ones as a symbol of remembrance and hope for a peaceful future.

At Lady Jane Court, we believe it’s essential to honour and remember the sacrifices and history that have shaped our communities and our nation. ❤️

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Bonfire Night! The tradition goes back to the year 1605, when a plan to blow up the Houses of Parliament was stopped. To honor this event, residents lit up sparklers and reminisce together. It was lovely to see our residents taking part in this long-standing British tradition. 🎆

Our home got overtaken by ghosts! 👻 👻
Residents could see two spooky creatures all around Lady Jane! They got spotted in the library, quiet lounge, therapy room, private dining room and even spa bathroom! This friendly ghosts were clearly exploring our amazing facilities and having a bit of Halloween fun!

Happy Halloween! 👻 Our home was delightfully spooky today! We kicked off the morning with live entertainment and lots of dancing. For lunch, residents enjoyed a frightfully fun menu featuring spooky pumpkin soup, fish with witches’ hair, and graveyard rice pudding for dessert! 😱

The home was filled with funky costumes and fabulous decorations. Residents proudly displayed their carved pumpkins, pottery pumpkins, and watercolour pumpkin paintings. Pumpkins everywhere you looked! 🎃

It was a wonderful Halloween celebration full of creativity, joy and laughter!

Our residents had a wonderful time on their trip to Cattows Farm for pumpkin picking! They enjoyed walking through the fields in search of the perfect pumpkin, spending some cuddle time with friendly goats, and finishing the day out with warm cup of tea and a slice of cake. 🍰 🍵

Now it’s time to decorate our home and carve the pumpkins for the competition! 🎃

This week, we sadly said goodbye to Chris, our wonderful Home Manager. It was not an easy decision for him, but Chris has chosen to begin a new chapter by moving to the coast. ☀️

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris for everything he has done for our home, for his dedicated management, his guidance and support to all staff, and most importantly, for ensuring our residents were always well cared for and living happy lives. 😊

Chris was truly touched by the good wishes from residents, families, and colleagues. He left with a heart full of memories, thoughtful gifts from staff (some were very funny!), and a warm send-off during a surprise leaving gathering on Friday. We’ll all miss Chris very much and wish him every success and happiness in his new adventure by the sea. 😃
