An Open Letter from Ginns & Gutteridge Funeral Directors

To our community,

We are proud and excited to officially reopen our newly refurbished and rebranded location at 209 Uppingham Road.

For many years, this branch has served families across Leicester, supporting them in honouring their loved ones’ final journey with dignity, care and compassion. As part of the Dignity Funeral Directors family, we remain deeply committed to the community we are privileged to serve.

Leicester is a beautifully diverse city, and we feel incredibly fortunate to support families of all faiths and backgrounds. This refurbishment reflects that commitment and ensures our facilities meet the cultural and religious needs of our community.

Our Uppingham Road site has always had a dedicated ritual wash and dress facility on-site, and as a specialist location we recognise the importance of making our community more aware of the support available to them.

We warmly invite you to join us this Friday for a tour of the refurbished branch, the opportunity to meet our team, and to see all areas of the site. We will also be offering desi sweets and chai tea as we mark the blessing of our on-site chapel and this important new chapter for the branch.

Jane Marilyn HARDING

Sadly passed away, at home, on Wednesday 14th January 2026. Aged 76 years.

She will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

Funeral service to be held at All Saints Church, 16 Moat St, Wigston LE18 2GD on Wednesday 11th February at 12:30pm, followed by private burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Jane, to RSPCA.
