🌿 Zen Connection Session — Event Reflection
In partnership with Lois McNab | BioWell Wellbeing Assessment
Our recent Zen Connection session created a grounded, reflective space for women to explore their current state of wellbeing through awareness, conversation, and lived experience.
As part of the session, we were supported by Lois McNab, who offered a non-invasive wellbeing assessment as a reflective tool — helping participants visualise stress patterns, grounding, and areas of strain within the body as a snapshot of the present moment.
This was not about diagnosis or fixing — but about insight.
What the session offered
• a calm, regulated environment
• a visual prompt to support self-reflection
• guided discussion around stress, breath, recovery, and fatigue
• space to connect bodily awareness with daily lifestyle and wellbeing choices
• confidence-building around listening to and articulating one’s own needs
How it supported participants
The assessment helped open meaningful conversations about how long-term stress, resilience, and recovery can show up in the body — even when things appear “fine” on the surface. For many, it offered language, clarity, and reassurance rather than answers.
Why this matters
Women are often navigating complex wellbeing experiences while balancing responsibility, silence, and strength. Sessions like this support agency, self-trust, and informed self-advocacy — core values of our work.
This session forms part of our Health, Wellbeing, Nutrition & Sustainability Project, delivered through our ongoing Zen Connection series.
