💜Pre eclampsia and placenta encapsulation💜

Although the exact cause of Pre eclampsia is not known, it’s thought to occur when there’s a problem with the placenta, the organ that links the baby’s blood supply to the mothers.

Symptoms of Pre eclampsia

💜severe headaches
💜vision problems, such as blurring or flashing
💜pain just below the ribs
💜vomiting
💜sudden swelling in face, hands, or feet.
💜high blood pressure
💜protein in urine

Pre eclampsia usually occurs in the 2nd half of pregnancy or soon after birth.

Reasons this can happen are

💜family history of pre eclampsia
💜being 40 or over
💜10 years or more since your last pregnancy
💜expecting multiple babies
Having a BMI of 35 or over

I know how impatient you can sometimes feel when you’re so looking forward to meeting your little one. 🥰

You can’t rush Mother Nature! Your baby will come when they’re ready and it’s so worth the wait ❤️💙 hang in there.

Did you know that the due date was introduced over 200 years ago in 1774 and hasn’t been re-visited? No wonder it’s not very accurate!!

That means 4 birthing parents out of 100 will have their baby on the date advised.
