Body Development Centre Body Development Centre is a long-term behaviour change centre run by Simon Long (BSc, MSc).

Body Development Centre was founded by Simon Long (BSc, MSc) in 2005, and since then has helped 1000s of clients not only lose weight and get fit, but sustain their chance for life. Simon learnt how to aid people like yourself to create and maintain long-term change by firstly gaining a first in exercise science at Loughborough University, a world recognised establishment for this field of research. Simon was then invited to earn his Masters in behaviour change psychology at the behaviour change research centre at University College London, which is widely recognised as the worlds premier institute for research into how behaviour change can not only be achieved, but maintained. Long-term change in weight loss, nutrition, exercise and lifestyle is very much Simon's focus and expertise. When your sleep is poor, it’s like starting the day with a half-empty willpower tank.

Most people see the end result of someone’s lifestyle change…

But they don’t see where it started.

For me, it started in a pretty rough place.

I was:

• Obese
• Unfit
• Depressed
• Struggling with addiction
• Broke
• And dealing with insomnia

Not exactly the foundation for “living your best life.”

But over the past couple of decades I’ve been obsessed with figuring out how real, long-term change actually works. Through my own journey, completing a Master’s degree in behaviour change, and working 45,000+ hours with clients, I’ve noticed something important:

Lasting change isn’t about motivation or willpower.

It’s about structure.
