A big BrightSparks Arts welcome to Vikas Chauhan and this great 'Triumph of the Robot Empire' piece created at this week's Vida Limon inspired Smoothie group at The Bradgate Mental Health Unit.

Triumph of the Robot Empire.

When lightening goes through the world,
You see a mile ahead of us.
From the undead world,
Across the universe,
Like a gang of robots.
The leader of the empire of the robots,
Has ordered the robots to start,
The war of the robots versus the aliens.
So they scatter all over the world,
To demolish the aliens remaining per hour.
So they can conquer the alien human race.

Today our ArtSpace group visited the 'Material World' exhibition at The Attenborough Arts Centre. We were shown around by the wonderful Marianne Scahill-Pape who brought the exhibition to life with her knowledge and charisma. She then led a workshop where we produced work inspired by what we had seen. This 'Material Worlds' collage was created by Jessica Annie Parkes.

How to Triumph like a Rockstar.

I just want to hold the mic,
Sing you a song of joy and romance.
Ladies dress to impress,
Men in suits and smiles.
My woman in my shadow and heart of smiles,
Words are sung so smoothly,
As she touches my skin gently.
Everyone clap your hands with jubilation,
Everyone sings together.
No matter what you do, let’s hold hands,
