🌍We’re incredibly proud of our Registered Manager, Kerry Walshe! 🌍

Kerry recently joined an 8-day volunteering trip to Kenya with her local football club, where she leads the disability football team. Alongside nine other volunteers, Kerry helped build a new toilet block, painted classrooms, assisted with lessons, and supported children in an orphanage.

The team also distributed essential donations, including sanitary products, clothes, shoes, and school supplies. Kerry described the experience as humbling and inspiring—a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back and the true value of life.

We’re honoured to have such a dedicated and compassionate leader on our team. 🌍💙

🍟 SP and RS’s Skegness Seaside Trip!
SP and RS made their way to Skegness, where the sun was shining and the sea breeze was perfect. They tucked into delicious fish and chips right on the beach, watched the waves roll in, and enjoyed a good laugh together. Nothing beats that classic seaside feeling! 🏖️🐚
We’re so proud of all our residents for trying new things, making memories, and embracing the spirit of summer. A big thank you to our Lester Hall Apartments team for making these trips possible — your support and care make all the difference. 💛

Our East Midlands team went all out for this year’s pumpkin competition—and the creativity was incredible! From spooky clowns to beautifully staged displays, every entry brought smiles and laughter. Little later than planned, but we wanted to share some of the wonderful submissions we received!

🏞️ J’s visit with Family in the Highlands! 🏞️
We’re delighted to share some wonderful news from Tarry Hill!
Recently, J enjoyed a five-day holiday in the beautiful Scottish Highlands to visit his dad, a trip that meant so much to him. Spending quality time with family is incredibly important to J, and this visit gave him the opportunity to reconnect, relax (when he wasn’t taking part in those important daily hikes!), and make special memories together.
At Tarry Hill, we understand how meaningful family relationships are and how they contribute to each person’s happiness and wellbeing. Even when loved ones live far away, we are committed to supporting every individual to maintain those vital connections and ensuring that distance is never a barrier to family life.
With thoughtful planning and support from his team, J was able to enjoy a smooth journey and a wonderful stay, a true reflection of how dedication and teamwork can make special moments possible.💙

🧡💙 At IBC Healthcare, we’re proud to say that our Registered Managers don’t just lead services — they lead with heart 🧡💙

A wonderful example of this is Kerry Walshe, our Registered Manager for Supported Living Midlands, who will soon be travelling to Kenya — not for a holiday, but to volunteer at a local school. Kerry will be offering her time, care, and guidance to children who have faced immense challenges, bringing smiles, learning, and kindness to young lives that truly need it.

In support of this heartfelt initiative, our People & Culture team and Harika Thogarcheti have gifted Kerry a collection of creative supplies to take along — from crayons and pencils to activity materials — to help keep the children inspired and engaged.

Kerry’s compassion is a reminder that great leadership goes beyond the workplace. It’s about humanity, empathy, and the courage to make a difference wherever we can.
