Pregnancy + birthing babies can be an intense time in our lives. Emotionally. Physically. Mentally.
If I could give you one piece of advice to make it easier - it would be to trust that gut feeling about *who* you choose to listen to, spend time with, and share your decisions about this special time with 🫶
People who lift you up, tell you positives, support you in your wishes. People who bring goodness and warmth with them. People who genuinely care how YOU are.
There's just no point discussing homebirth with someone who hasn't done any research on it.
There's no point in sitting through antenatal classes that feel cold and clinical, that increase your anxiety.
There's no point in nodding politely through yet another scary birth story from a 'friend'.
You deserve to feel loved, protected, empowered, mama. 🥰
You deserve peace, and options, and support ❤️❤️
Stay close to the people who can give you that. (You'll know when you find them - you leave their presence feeling recharged)

PS. Tagging some of the powerful, warm, inspiring, supportive, knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly kind women who I've been staying close to the last few weeks. Forever grateful 🫶❤️
