Your back pain might be starting at your feet
When diagnosing back or hip pain, we don’t just look at where it hurts.
At The Rehab Hut, we assess movement from the ground up, starting with your feet and ankles.
Why?
Your feet are your foundation. If they’re stiff, unstable, or moving asymmetrically, that force travels up the chain to the knees, hips, pelvis, and spine. Over time, this can overload tissues and lead to pain far from the original problem.
Osteopathy looks at the body as one connected system. Rather than treating pain in isolation, we:
• Assess how joints, muscles, and fascia work together
• Look for movement restrictions and compensations
• Identify why pain developed, not just where it shows up
This is different from treatments that focus only on the painful area. By restoring proper movement at the feet and ankles, we can reduce stress on the hips and lower back and support long-term recovery — not just short-term relief.
Pain is often a signal, not the source.
Book an assessment and discover what your body is really telling you.
