I’ve been thinking about popping along to this charity event today not just for the bargains (though there seem to be plenty!), but because little outings like this can be such a gentle lift for the mind.

Browsing gifts, seeing the colourful stalls, sharing a few kind words with stall holders. These small moments can create a quiet ripple of positivity that carries through the rest of the day.

And if you’re looking for something light, meaningful, and good for your mental wellbeing, supporting a local charity can be a lovely way to weave a bit of connection and kindness into your morning.

We’ll have:
🛍️ 26 amazing stalls full of Christmas goodies

🍰 A cosy cafe with chip barms, homemade cakes and hot drinks.

🐾 Our friends from Lucky Hens, Cats Protection, fundraising4rescues and of course the fabulous The Charity Artist will be joining us too.

It’s the perfect chance to pick up some festive treats, support local rescues, and enjoy a lovely Christmas afternoon.

Today, my sister and I tried out a different run club… which meant missing the usual park run!

We joined a Sweaty Betty x GAIL’s collaboration run, and it did not disappoint. A change of scenery, a lovely crowd, and a chance to get those feel good chemicals flowing… plus some goodies at the end certainly helped boost the mood! 🎁

Sometimes stepping outside your usual routine is all you need to reset, energise, and reconnect with yourself.

Stressed?

It’s a natural response, your body’s way of helping you deal with challenges. But when we stay stuck in stress for too long, it can start to affect our sleep, mood, focus, and even our physical health.

Hypnotherapy can help you find healthy outlets for stress, calm your mind, and empty that stress bucket before it overflows.

Today I went for a run in the rain 🌧️ not because it was ideal weather, but because the house next door is having renovations, and I could feel myself getting tense. The fresh air and movement helped me reset and let go of that built-up tension.

It’s a reminder that small actions, taken with intention, can make a big difference to how we feel.
