A Place to Remember, A Community United 💛

Sankey & Monks Funeral Directors are honoured to continue caring for the memorial in Pennnington park, created in loving remembrance of those who so tragically lost their lives at the Manchester Arena concert.

The memorial stone, arranged by Sankeys, stands alongside a beautiful handkerchief tree — together creating a serene and meaningful place for reflection, remembrance, and quiet support for all affected.

As we approach the 9 year anniversary, we are ensuring the memorial remains a fitting tribute by carefully arranging for the stone to be cleaned and re-gilded.

We warmly invite our community to join us on 22nd May at 12pm in the park for a small, respectful service in the park — a moment to come together, reflect, and honour the young lives lost.

We have been over to Leigh Parish Church this morning to donate an Easter Hamper 🐣 for their Easter bingo evening which is taking place on Friday 27th March doors open at 6pm eyes down at 7pm. £1 per game & refreshments available 🐣
