If you’re planning to have a real Christmas tree and live in Aylesbury, Wendover, Haddenham, Winslow, Buckingham or the surrounding villages, let Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity take care of the cleanup – while you support the Hospice.

After raising over £2,000 for the Hospice in their first Treecycling initiative last year, with just two vans, they're aiming even higher in 2026 – and need your help to make it happen!

For a small donation, they'll collect your tree right from your doorstep and deliver it to a local chipping facility. The resulting mulch is donated to local farmers, helping improve soil health and reduce waste.

Our Christmas Tree of Remembrance is now up, and we invite you to come in and write a personal message of remembrance to someone special.

The messages will be displayed on our Memorial Christmas Tree during December.

If you are unable to visit, please feel free to send us your message and we will place it on the tree on your behalf.

As we enter this reflective time of year, we once again invite our community to gather in love and remembrance.

Our Memory Tree is now in place, offering a peaceful space for you to write a tag in honour of someone you hold close in your heart. Whether your loss is recent or many years have passed, you are welcome to visit, write a message, and hang it on the tree as a tribute to your loved one.

You’re invited to stop by during our opening hours to place your tag and take a quiet moment of reflection.

If you are unable to pop in, give us a call, and we can write one for you.

A Piece of History Preserved 📖

We have been looking at our original handwritten journals from 1923, back when Dillamore Funeral Service first began serving our community.

Beautifully kept, filled with delicate penmanship, and rich in just over a century of local history, these books serve as a gentle reminder of the families we’ve served and the care that’s been at the heart of our work for generations.

We’re honoured to continue that same compassion and care today.

Thank you for trusting us yesterday, today, and always.
