Friends & Family Test
After each consultation a text message is sent out asking about your recent appointment with 3W Health. Overall, how was your experience of our service? This is known as the Friends and Family Test.
We do ask patients to provide a reason for their answer if they would like to and to let us know if there is anything we could have done better – this information is regularly shared with all our staff members so that together we can continue to build on our strengths and improve our services as 3W Health.

📱New look NHS App: What is changing.

We are aware these changes have been rolled out for some users of the NHS APP (and expect everyone using the APP to be updated soon). We expect that the Triage form(s) will be available under the 'Appointments' section.

Meningitis Outbreak: Vaccination Information

We are aware of recent meningitis cases and understand this may be concerning. Vaccination remains the best protection against the most common types of meningitis.

Vaccination Schedule

In the UK, meningitis vaccines include:

MenB – given to infants (8 weeks, 16 weeks, and 1 year)
Hib/MenC – given at 1 year (for children born before July 2024)
MenACWY – offered to teenagers (usually via school) and new university students
Eligibility

Vaccines are offered in line with NHS guidelines and age groups. Some vaccines, such as MenB, are not routinely available to older children or adults unless clinically indicated.

We hold some vaccination records at the practice. However, for the teenage MenACWY booster, you may need to contact the school immunisation team:

Note – Every month, in accordance with NHS guidelines, all GP practices in England close for one afternoon for mandatory Protected Learning Time (PLT). During these sessions, healthcare professionals have the chance to stay updated with new clinical developments, national guidance updates, and best practices.
