We have recently started a daily outdoor walking group. This may be a walk to the shops, the local pond, bird watching, to the library, around the local area or further afield shopping or the garden centre. The aim to promote physical activity, strength and balance 💪🏻 this has also improved mental wellbeing and reduced the number of falls.

Our residents have thoroughly enjoyed the cycle track. It supports those at varied levels of mobility.

We bought crepe grills ahead of Pancake Day and today our residents thoroughly enjoyed making the pancake batter, prepping the toppings, making their own pancakes and of course the flipping competition.

The sense of independence and pride in the simple task of cooking was evident within the home today; this will be something we will be taking forward with our cooking and baking classes in the coming weeks.
