A weekend full of Easter Antics.

Friday a lovely Afternoon Tea and of course a photoshoot with our Easter backdrops, and visit from the Easter Bunny; followed by fish and chips for dinner.

Saturday was spent doing our Easter bonnet parade and of course choosing the best bonnets. The Heather residents won this year for the creativity, class and of course the lighting effects. This was followed by hot cross buns, and an afternoon of dancing/singing in the cinema room.

Sunday the big day. Residents enjoyed a visit from not 1, 2 BUT 3 Easter Bunny’s. They received eggs before enjoying a traditional lamb roast for dinner.

Our daily walking group is now in full swing, the residents participating are now feeling the benefits of more physical activity and movement. The feedback has been hugely positive and comments have been as follows.

We have recently started a daily outdoor walking group. This may be a walk to the shops, the local pond, bird watching, to the library, around the local area or further afield shopping or the garden centre. The aim to promote physical activity, strength and balance 💪🏻 this has also improved mental wellbeing and reduced the number of falls.
