Find out more about our Echo project LifeLinks 👇

What is LifeLinks?
LifeLinks is all about learning new skills, getting out and about, and supporting our local communities.

What would I do if I joined?
Get more involved in the local community through volunteering and other activities. You might be out doing shopping for older and housebound people, litter picking or leaflet delivery. As well as volunteering you will be able to do group activities like art and craft work, adult learning courses, a walk, or an outing.

What would I get from attending?
No two weeks are the same but shopping and cooking are always big favourites! Every activity is tailored to your interests, so you’ll always find something fun and meaningful to do.

Being based in the city of Hereford means there’s always plenty to see and do. LifeLinks is your chance to explore, connect, and make a difference.

You will learn:
Shopping for older people
Volunteering on local projects

Cooking and sharing lunch with the group
Practical life skills
Making friends and having fun
Here’s what some of the current team members say about LifeLinks:
‘There’s always lots of things to do and I like seeing everybody each week. I have lots of fun…’

‘I like coming to Lifelinks, seeing my friends and making things’.

When do the sessions happen
LifeLinks is open Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am to 3.00pm and can found at Belmont Community Centre, Eastholme Ave, Belmont, Hereford HR2 7UQ

If you need to contact the project directly, then please call 07719 055387

Will there be Buried Treasure?

Any sign on early release from the Uncool jail for Cliff? (unlikely)

Who will be sent down to the underground switching room to change the camera angle?

A message from ECHO's arts & Crafts project Clevery Betsy...

We've been experimenting with decorating glass jars, so far it's going well! If anyone has any empty Douwe Egberts jars they don't need, please would you drop them round to us at our new premises? We're now at 19-19a West Street. YYou can also have a little nose round to see how we're settling in!

The Thank Friday It's Radio ECHO team are a bit sad because there is no broadcast tomorrow, April 3rd. All together: "Aaaaah, what a shame".

But they are also happy because the reason they are off the air is because it's Easter and that means Easter eggs! "Hooray!!!"

Even better still, TFIRE will return the following Friday, April 10th at 1.30pm with all your favourite features in the show where a series of challenges decides the playlist - you don't get that sort of show on other stations.

Look out for details of how to join the show next week, as well as sister programme Radio ECHO: Live! next Tuesday, April 7th. Meanwhile, enjoy your Bank Holiday break...
