Clever Betsy have had a pop up shop all this week at Leominster Library, selling all sorts of goods made at the project and at Eaton Barn and ECHO Weavers.

Liz Evans of Clever Betsy, pictured here, said: “Monday and Tuesday were busy, Thursday it was quiet but it’s market day today, so we look forwards to more customers”.

On sale is Eaton Barn jam & chutney, along with Xmas stars made at the project. The Weavers have a stall with cushions, rugs and fabrics, whilst Clever Betsy have their fabric mobiles, cards, lots of wool, cotton and other haberdashery, pillows, fabric Xmas wreaths, and lots, lots more!

So, if you’re looking for a Xmas bargain, pop down to the Leominster Library today from 10am and help support ECHO’s work, as all proceeds go to supporting disabled people across Herefordshire!

A wonderful day for the Studio Mirai Tuesday group at the Priory Church! 🎄✨
They visited to decorate the Christmas tree proudly created by the Studio Mirai team for this year’s Christmas Tree Festival.

Huge thanks to their fantastic volunteer Greg for the brilliant design idea. 👏
So many participants contributed—whether building, painting, or decorating—and the finished result truly reflects everyone’s hard work and creativity. Well done, team!

A little more from the amazing Firewalk fundraisier from last Thursday night. What you see here is very much the 'before' and 'after' of the walk - before: sparks, flames, smoke and apprehension! After: a very relieved Penny and Liz from the ECHO team, having survived the burning coals, then joined by our other intrepid fire walker Mike Cook and the support team from the night.

When we have a final figure for money raised we'll bring that to you. Meanwhile, once again many thanks to the for hosting us alongside their Christmas fair - a great venue. Thank you also to our sponsors too Leominster Osteopaths & Therapies Clinic and

🎄 The holiday vibes are creeping in, and the crew is itching to play some Xmas tunes. But will Producer Nick hold the line? Will Louis figure out what’s going on? Ian & Dan seem totally chill about it as you see from the pictures here!

💥 YOU get to decide! Another inmate will be released by popular vote during the show. Which Xmas anthem should make it to our end-of-year party playlist?*

✨ Surprises, laughs, and festive chaos await—don’t miss it!

📅 Tuesday, 1:30 PM. Be there.

ECHO & lockdown

At ECHO we have carried on providing a service to all our members during the lockdown. We might not be able to meet in person but staff and volunteers have worked hard to find alternative ways to keep everyone connected and entertained. There have been hundreds of welfare calls and regular check-ins to make sure no one is left feeling isolated or without support. We have put together lesson packs so people can carry on with adult learning courses and kept the fun going with activity parcels delivered to homes. Other ideas moved online with videos, chats and coffee mornings so we could see each other. It has meant a lot of changes in a short space of time but our message was clear - ECHO is here for you.
