🎄✨ Christmas has officially arrived at Holmer Manor Care Home! ✨🎄

Our lights are twinkling, the trees are up, and every corner of the home is looking wonderfully festive as we get into the Christmas spirit. It’s one of our favourite times of the year, and the joy is truly starting to spread throughout the home! ❤️

Today, we received a beautiful surprise from Nationwide — a Christmas card for each of our residents. 🎁💌
This thoughtful gesture brought big smiles and a lovely sense of warmth to everyone here. A heartfelt thank you to Nationwide for making our residents feel so special this Christmas. 🌟

🎁 Christmas Wish Tree 🎁

We’re also excited to let all families, staff, and friends know that our Christmas Wish Tree is now up in the quiet lounge. Each of our residents has written a special Christmas wish and hung it on the tree.

If you’d like to take part and share the love this festive season, please feel free to pop in, choose a tag, and bring your gift back before the 20th of December 2025. Your kindness will help make this Christmas truly magical for our residents. ❤️🌲

🎃 Happy Halloween from Holmer Manor 👻

We’ve had a spooktacular day filled with fun and laughter — from amazing costumes and toe-tapping music to our Halloween quiz and a frightfully good trick-or-treat raffle! 🧙‍♀️🕸️🧛‍♂️

A big thank you to all our residents, staff, and visitors for making today so special. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween! 🧡🕷️🍬

🐍🦎 What a wild afternoon at Holmer Manor! 🐢🕷️

Yesterday we had the fabulous team from Roaming Reptiles visit our staff, residents, and families — and what an unforgettable experience it was! 💚
The afternoon was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of brave moments as we embraced the snakes, raced a turtle, and even faced our fears with a tarantula! Everyone had such a wonderful time learning about these amazing creatures up close.
A huge thank you to Roaming Reptiles for bringing so much fun (and a few scaly surprises!) to our day. 🐍✨

We kicked off the week with a very active Monday! 💪✨
The morning started with some fun chair exercises with G Fitness—lots of laughs and smiles all around. In the afternoon, we kept the energy going with singing and dancing with Mansel 🎶💃. We wish you good luck for your trip Mansel 🥰
It was a full house at Holmer, and we enjoyed every single moment together. What a wonderful way to start the week! ❤️

💍✨ A Very Special Celebration at Holmer Manor took place on the 19th September ✨💍
We had the joy of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone – our lovely residents, Mike and Elaine, marked their 60th Wedding Anniversary! 💐❤️
Surrounded by friends, staff, and plenty of smiles, they reminisced on a lifetime of love and memories together. To make the day even more memorable, they received a very special card from His Majesty the King 👑 congratulating them on this wonderful achievement.
Here at Holmer Manor, it was an honour to share in such a precious moment. Please join us in wishing them many more happy days together! 🥂🎉
