Thank You for Your Incredible Generosity

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated toys to our Christmas 2025 Toy Appeal. The response has been truly overwhelming, with a fantastic number of toys donated.

Today, all of the toys were collected by Healthy Valleys, who will ensure they are distributed to those most in need, helping to bring joy to many children this Christmas.

On behalf of everyone at Golden Funeral Care, a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Your donations will make a real difference and help create special moments for families this festive season.

Our Christmas Memorial Service will be held this Friday, 5th December, beginning at 6:30 PM in Lesmahagow Fountain Hall.

This service offers a gentle and meaningful opportunity for us to come together as a community as we remember loved ones during the Christmas season. Whether you are attending in memory of someone special or simply wish to offer your support to others, you are warmly invited to join us. The evening will include reflective readings, music, and time for quiet remembrance.

If you require transportation—either a pick-up before the service or a drop-off afterwards—please let us know. We are more than happy to arrange transport to ensure that everyone who wishes to attend is able to do so comfortably and safely.

We look forward to welcoming all who can join us for this meaningful time of reflection and togetherness.

Christmas Memorial Service Reminder

A gentle reminder that our Christmas Memorial Service will take place on Friday, 5th December at 6:30pm in The Fountain Hall.
Everyone is warmly welcome to join us as we come together in reflection and remembrance.

And we will also be holding our annual Christmas Toy Appeal. All donations are greatly appreciated and will help bring joy to families in need this season. All donations can be handed into our office up until 20th December. All toys will then be handed over to Healthy Valleys and distributed accordingly.

🎅 🔔 🎁 Christmas Toy Appeal 2025 🎁 🔔🎅

After the overwhelming support we received last year of our Christmas toy appeal we have decided to do it again for 2025. Our Christmas Toy and Gift Appeal for local families this year will again be donated to Healthy Valleys, Kirkmuirhill and be distributed to those most in need. 🥰 We always try our best to support local charities and businesses all year round and we wanted to bring some extra Christmas joy to hopefully lots of children in our area again this Christmas🎁

We would love if our local community again could help us, in gathering up as many toys and gifts as we can for those in need. All new toys would be warmly received aswell as gifts for teenagers boys, things like toiletries sets always go down well and we all know teenage girls would love to receive some pyjamas and fluffy socks🧦

If you are in a position to donate please drop off your (unwrapped) gift to our office at 6 Priory Road, Lesmahagow before Saturday 20th December 🎅
We really appreciate all your continued support and we are all so lucky to have a great community spirt.

* Our Standard office hours: our office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
* Flexible appointments: we are also available to be able to schedule appointments outside of these standard business hours to discuss funeral plans and make arrangements.
* On-call 24/7: This means that while our office may be closed out of hours, we are always reachable by phone to respond to a bereavement at any hour.

Our memorial service will be held in the Fountain Hall, Lesmahagow followed by teas, coffees and mince pies.
