Join our Positive Movement gentle exercise class developed by The Sadie Centre which combines techniques drawn from Adaptive Yoga with the principles and methods of the Alexander Technique and Mindfulness.

Adaptive yoga makes the health benefits of yoga accessible to all, by tailoring yoga practise to the specific needs and abilities of each participant. It is open to anyone over 60 with a mobility problem or who is living with a long-term condition.

Positive Movement consists of an hour of movement which is followed by a further ½ hour of time to reflect on your experience and socialise with members of the group. It is both fun and effective.

Starting January 14th 2026, sessions will run every Wednesday from 3:30 - 5pm at Hampson Park Community Centre in Stevenage. To book, contact Clare Chambers at clare.chambers@hertsmindnetwork.org or on 07957 961984 / 01462 678804

Conscious Dance invites you to move freely, connect with your body and explore who you are through intuitive movement. Guided by an immersive soundscape, each session encourages presence, playfulness and expression. There are no steps to follow - simply space to release tension, ease stress and experience the joy that comes from moving in your own way.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve danced for years or are stepping onto the floor for the first time. It’s a supportive, inclusive space where curiosity, self-discovery and authenticity are gently encouraged.

The session is led by Mira Schauble, an experienced Dance Movement Psychotherapist, UKCP Integrative Psychotherapist and trained Open Floor Dance and Yoga teacher. With over 35 years of experience, she creates a warm, safe and inspiring environment for exploration.
