How on earth are we at the final photo of the year already? Honestly, 2025 has absolutely sprinted past us like it’s late for a meeting. But what a beauty we get to finish on.

This month’s calendar photo is taken in Rothamsted Park, Harpenden, and it’s giving us full-on winter wonderland vibes - the kind where you suddenly believe you *might* actually enjoy a frosty morning walk… right up until you remember you left your gloves at home. The long shadows, the crisp snow underfoot, the pale blue sky pretending it’s not -473 degrees - it’s all just stunning.

And because this is the last in the series (😭), we need to give a huge shout-out to the brilliant **Lucy Barrett**, who has kindly donated her photography throughout the entire year. She’s captured everything from golden sunrises to misty fields to scenes like this that make you want to break into a whimsical twirl… or at least consider it before deciding the ice might have other plans. Lucy’s talent, generosity, and all-round loveliness have absolutely made this project what it is. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Here’s to snowy walks, woolly layers, and that magical bit of winter before everything turns to slush.

If you’d like to see more of Lucy’s gorgeous work (and you absolutely should), you’ll find her here:

Our lovely Willow Dementia Group have been busy lately - and just look at what they’ve created!

From arts and crafts and poetry to gentle exercises, quizzes, and plenty of sing-alongs, there’s always something uplifting happening in our sessions. The little popsicle-stick cottage in the photo was made by one of our brilliant group members - how wonderful is that?

If you know someone who’d enjoy good company, creative activities, and a warm cuppa in a friendly space, we’d love to welcome them.

➡️ Join us at the Willow Dementia Group - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10am–3pm.

Pop us a message or call 0330 2000 103 to find out more. 💚
