⚠️ 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
*Update on MenB Outbreak in Kent (𝘔𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱 𝘉)

" Public health teams in England are responding to an outbreak of group B meningococcal disease in Kent. This situation is local to that area, and there is currently no evidence of increased risk in Scotland.
People in Scotland can be reassured that there is no increased risk of MenB or other meningococcal disease here at present.

Therefore, no additional vaccination or catch-up campaigns are currently recommended locally.
Public Health Scotland continues to monitor the situation closely."

Although there is no identified risk in our area, this situation highlights the importance of knowing the symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia. These illnesses can develop very quickly, so early recognition is vital.

🩺 Symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia can include:
• Severe or worsening headache
• Sudden high fever
• Stiff neck
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Joint and muscle pain
• Dislike of bright lights
• Very cold hands and feet
• A rash that does not fade when pressed with a glass
• Seizures
• Confusion or delirium
• Extreme sleepiness or difficulty waking

If you or someone you know develops symptoms of meningitis or septicaemia, please seek urgent medical help by going to your nearest Emergency Department or calling 999.

Calling all Patients who have been loaned a BP monitor by the Practice. We have a stock of 30 but are currently down to our last two. If you have one, then please return it to you nearest surgery as soon as possible. If the machine looks like the one in the 2nd photo, then you do not need to return it.

✅Deliver excellent reception and administrative support, including booking appointments, processing prescription requests, assisting with clinical tasks, and handling general enquiries.
✅Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of medication to patients on a daily basis while prioritising the dispensary workload, adhering to standard operating procedures; manage stock levels and offer clear, professional guidance to patients.

⏱️ 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: 1x Full-Time ( 37.5Hrs) & 1x Part Time (20Hrs)
