Our residents absolutely loved their festive Come Dine With Me Christmas special! The atmosphere was full of laughter, excitement and delicious food as everyone enjoyed a beautifully prepared meal.

A huge well‑done to our talented head chef, whose dishes received full marks from our residents — a true festive triumph ✨

🎄 A Magical Christmas Eve at Leven Beach ✨

Our residents and colleagues enjoyed a truly heart‑warming Christmas Eve, filled with joyful singing and plenty of festive spirit

The home was alive with Christmas songs, laughter and togetherness — a lovely way to celebrate the season. And of course, Christmas Eve wouldn’t be complete without a very special visitor… 🎅

Santa made his much‑loved stop at Leven Beach, delivering Christmas stockings filled with thoughtful goodies for all our residents. The smiles said it all!

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Poundland who kindly donated an abundance of biscuits for our amazing residents.

🧶💚 A truly touching gesture at Leven Beach 💚🧶

Our residents were incredibly grateful to St Agatha’s Church for the beautiful hand-knitted and crocheted blankets gifted to many of our residents.

The kindness and care behind each blanket meant so much, with some residents deeply moved by the gesture. Moments like these remind us how powerful simple acts of generosity can be and how strong our community connections truly are.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for such a thoughtful and meaningful gift 💚

🎄✨ Christmas party celebrations at Leven Beach ✨🎄

What a fantastic time we had at our upstairs Christmas party, with residents dancing and singing along as Sandra entertained everyone on the keyboard 🎶

The celebrations were made even more special with a visit from Santa, who delivered presents and plenty of festive cheer. It was lovely to hear everyone say what a great time they had, making it a truly joyful celebration 💚

This December, colleagues, residents, families and friends from across all 27 Meallmore care homes came together to do something truly special.

Through our Meallmore Reindeer Run, we collectively:
✔ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝟰,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀
✔ 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 £𝟮,𝟮𝟲𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 Cash for Kids – 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀
✔ 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 to support children and families across our local communities

From walking, wheeling, cycling and adapting activities, to festive costumes, creativity and teamwork, this was a challenge that everyone could be part of — and that’s what made it so powerful.

More than a fundraiser, the Reindeer Run was about:
💚 Inclusion and connection
💚 Bringing people together
💚 Supporting families beyond our homes
💚 Showing what’s possible when communities work as one

Meallmore’s Reindeer Run saw 27 care homes travel 4,800 miles, raising £2,260 and donating over 250 gifts for Cash for Kids.

🎄✨ What a wonderful day at Leven Beach! ✨🎄

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic Christmas party downstairs filled with laughter, singing, and dancing. A huge thank you to our colleague Sandra, who delighted everyone with her beautiful singing and keyboard playing.

The highlight of the afternoon was a very special visit from the main man himself, spreading joy and delivering presents to all.

It was truly heart-warming to see so many smiles and hear everyone talking about what a lovely time they had 💖

🎄✨ A Special Visit from Parkhill Primary School! ✨🎄

Our residents at Leven Beach Care Home had a wonderful time welcoming the lovely children from Aberhill Primary School.

The children sang all the songs they had been rehearsing for their Christmas show, filling the home with festive cheer, and even brought beautiful handmade gifts - pictures and calendars - to share with our residents.

What a fantastic day at Leven Beach Care Home! Our Annual Christmas Fete raised a staggering £1,272 - and there’s still more to come in!

Residents, their families, and our wonderful colleagues all had a brilliant time enjoying the festive fun. The Christmas spirit was truly in the air! 🎉

A huge thank you to all our colleagues who helped make the day such a success, and to all the families and friends who came along and supported us - your generosity is very much appreciated.
