🎶🤗 made a new community link this week, with our first zoom call with in Peachaven. The children sang a few Christmas songs for us, and we sang along with them! They also sent us a lovely big Christmas card for all our residents! It’s lovely to see the children so full of seasonal energy, and we hope to be able to repeat this through the year.

🎄🎉🪄 had so much fun at their last week. Residents, staff & relatives were all thoroughly entertained and perplexed by our splendid magic man - David Croucher - who’s tricks were just fabulous! We had the premier of our home made panto, and of course came to visit ALL our residents, with a delicious little gift for each. After all that we opened bubbles and enjoyed a party buffet! A really lovely afternoon…

🎄🤪🎶 had a FUN afternoon with Helen from the - of course the theme was !! We got dressed up, sang songs, danced, rang jingle bells and laughed a lot… singing is a brilliant inclusive activity for all - dementia or not - which fills us all with joy.

💗👩🏼‍🎓 were surprised & happy to get a visit from students & staff from Priory School, Lewes this week. They make fabulous gift boxes full of Christmas cheer, very thoughtfully curated, with cards and gifts, handmade decorations etc, for our residents. This is such a wonderful, thoughtful gift, and very much appreciated! We really value our links to the community, and young people especially. A big ‘Lime Tree’ thankyou to all the students who contributed to our lovely gift….

🎄🎄🎄 residents enjoyed visiting on Saturday to see the Christmas tree festival. The church was bustling & beautiful, and the trees all looked great! We were proud of our tree with our hand decorated baubles - many of our residents had contributed.

🎄🪄🎉 are holding their this week - all are welcome! There will be a super show of magic & balloon modelling from Dave the Magic Man, we hope to have the world premiere of our & of course there will be festive food & drink. 🎄💗 are at the Christmas tree festival this weekend - please do come along and support this lovely event. Kate & James visited yesterday with some residents to set up & decorate our tree; here is resident Ann helping out! We are off to visit today and see how beautiful the church looks with all the trees up…

🥳🥳Here at Lime Tree we have created a fabulous basket of goodies with donations from wonderful local businesses for our Christmas raffle.

Tickets are £2 a strip and available to all, we will be drawing the raffle on New Years Eve at our party, please come along to the office if you wish to take part.🎄🎄🎉🎉🎆

🥸 are proud of our maintenance man James who took part in this year. He grew a very retro moustache, as you can see! Well done James - a splendid effort! This simple event is a way to raise awareness & funds for men’s health issues, focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health & su***de prevention.

😋🏠Wonderful Wednesday menu at today. Residents chose between Carbonara or smoked mackerel tart, with homemade coleslaw. For dessert there was a banana split! What would you choose? Of course chef is happy to cater for dietary requirements or anyone who just wants something different. We are proud of our person centred care at Lime Tree House…

🎄🏠💡We lit up last night - a big thankyou to our super maintenance man James who has worked really hard over the last week getting ALL these lights up! The building looked fabulous, residents came out to have a look; Alan said “We’ve never done this before, It’s great Stacey (our manager) has done this!” Sylvie said “isn’t James clever, it looks amazing!”
