That’s because you might not actually be sleeping…
you’re just unconscious.

You can lie in bed for 8 hours, but if you’re stuck in light sleep and constantly waking up (even if you don’t remember it)… you’ll wake up feeling like a shadow of yourself.

Sleep isn’t an on/off switch button

It’s stages. It’s quality. It’s recovery.

Most people aren’t tired because they need more sleep…
they’re tired because their sleep is poor 📉

Our community is wicked 💪

From day one, my focus has always been simple —
teach people the fundamentals properly and create an environment where everyone supports each other.

Because training isn’t just for athletes… it’s for everyone.

I’ve never been the place that has loads of new people walking through the door every week.

But what I’ve found is — when people do come… they stay 🫶

And that’s what matters.

That’s community.

That’s relationships.

Familiarity. Consistency. Accountability.

A bit of healthy competition/inspiration.

It’s a fitness family.

And for the first time in a long time, my mindset has shifted — from “can I make this work?”

To…

“We’ve only got so many spaces available” — and as the community continues to grow, we’ll look at adding more sessions to the timetable.

That comes from building something solid.

I’m excited to keep growing this community —
and watch more people come in unsure…

and leave more confident, stronger, and a completely different version of themselves.

For me, it’s always been about showing people who believe the gym isn’t for them… that it actually is.

Our community is growing with amazing characters like Laura, Vicky and Scott – the same people you see in this video.

People who once felt completely out of place in gyms.

Maybe they had a bad experience in PE at school.

Maybe they walked into a gym and felt lost.

Maybe they felt self-conscious, or thought they just had “bad genetics”.

Laura, Vicky and Scott didn’t hesitate when I asked them to share their stories.

They wanted to inspire others who feel exactly how they once did.

Because the truth is, when you learn how to train properly – not just endless burpees or crash diets – something surprising happens…

You actually start to enjoy it.

If you relate to Laura, Vicky or Scott, you’ll feel right at home here.

I’ve watched all three of them – and many others – grow massively in confidence in just a few weeks.

And that’s the best part of what we do.

CHORLEY: JOIN OUR FREE SUNDAY SOCIAL RUN! 🏃‍♂️☕ 

Whether you’re training for the Chorley 10K, the Manchester Half, or just want to get moving, come and join the Body Reach crew for a weekly Sunday miles session! 

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
At our core, we are a strength training facility. We know the importance of strength—not just generally, but specifically for runners. 

A few of us at Body Reach are doing race events in the next few months, and we see the same issue over and over: runners don’t stay strong as they up the mileage, and they develop injuries despite having high fitness levels. 

We know better. So, yes, we lift heavy stuff with great technique here, but we also don’t shy away from cardio either—whether that’s a 5k, 10k, or a half marathon!

THE SUNDAY SOCIAL: OPEN TO EVERYONE

We are opening up our Sunday run to the whole community to help you get those aerobic miles in:
* 📍 Meet: Body Reach HQ (PR7 3AL) @ 09:40 AM for a brew
* 🏃‍♂️ Set Off: 10:00 AM sharp
* 🌳 Route: Astley Park (Back by ~11:00 AM)
* 📉 Intensity: Low-intensity “Zone 2” (Aerobic capacity building) 

All fitness levels are welcome. We use a looping system so the group stays together. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a total beginner, nobody gets left behind. 

Come for the run, stay for a brew and a chat with the crew.

📝 Safety First: To make sure everyone is good to go, I just need you to fill out a quick 30-second health form before your first run.
