In March 2020, I approached the Dr. Hennessy’s Training Academy and had the pleasure of speaking with the lovely Kerry. I expressed my desire to train in aesthetics, but she pointed out that the academy exclusively accepted medics—doctors, nurses, dentists, and dental therapists. Undeterred, I asked if I could secure enough evidence of my significant training and experience in a medical field, would I be considered for the course? The challenge sparked a fire!
A few weeks later, I found myself enrolled on the course, surrounded by Dentists, Doctors, Nurses, and Dental Therapists.

This became one of the proudest moments of my career.

Kerry might have to correct me but I think I was the first Specialist Dental Nurse!

I did that! I knew myself I had the exposure and experience, I just needed to prove it and I did! ✨
