**🎄 A surprise festive visitor has joined the Burgess Diagnostics team!🎄**

This little elf appeared in one of our Burgess Diagnostics mobile scanners this morning! He seems to just want to hang out with our driver today (quite literally!) and who can blame him? Our drivers are a fantastic bunch.

He’s promised to lend a hand wherever he can over the coming weeks… although we’re not entirely sure what his idea of “helping” looks like yet!

Stay tuned to see where he ends up next. Our mobile CT and MRI scanners travel across the UK so he could pop up anywhere…

The Burgess Diagnostics team have been super busy finalising our scanning schedules for next year and all our scheduled customers will soon receive their personalised 2026 session calendars. These handy calendars make it easy to plan caseloads, keep teams informed and to promote their imaging service to referring vets.

This is just one element of complementary support we provide to help our customers launch and grow their imaging service. The other areas include:

2. Clinical Support - expert advice on modality selection prior to imaging

**A CT imaging day to remember at London Zoo!**

It’s not every day we welcome such an extraordinary animal on board one of our mobile CT scanners. 🦍

“Kiburi”, the most magnificent 177kg Western Lowland Gorilla, was our largest patient to date. We are pleased to say that the CT scan, which was focussed on Kiburi’s abdomen, revealed no obvious cause for concern.

Our mobile radiography team also scanned a two-toed sloth, squirrel monkey, Humboldt penguin, big-head turtle, and babirusa pig!

We’d like to thank the amazing team at London Zoo for the very warm welcome and for trusting us to care for such incredible animals. We wish them all the very best for the future.
